yeah we dont have the new Line of Duty....

but the others are the new ones...

the Crown is netflix...

have you been following Happy Valley gawd knows where that names came from..lol...

I like anything with that Sarah Lancashire in..
I've seen both 2 series of Happy Valley. I think they plan for a 3rd series this year.

Oh, I worked out how to download an entire series of Popcorn-Time and save all episodes to an USB to plug into my DVD player, so I can see them on the Big Screen. :bgrin Not sure I really like this Bodyguard program ... pseudo sexual scenes ... in the second episode? At least I can fast-forward.

The rest of them, I shall wait until they are shown on Foxtel.

did you know Bodyguard is written by the same guy who write In Line of Duty...
Yes, Mercurio. I recorded the first episode of the new Line of Duty from Foxtel and watched it this morning. Gosh, it is so confusing and some of the dialogue is hard to hear (I am not the only one to complain about that) and no subtitles. Ah well.

I haven't had another look at Bodyguard.
Turn on Subtitles makes them a lot easier to follow I find.

I am well into series one of The Crown.

Really is a great production sort of based on Queen Elizabeth, the royal family and the UK events since her birth!

Great series so far, well worth watching imo!

The Crown is well written and well acted. I understand that the Queen enjoys it immensely, even if the show over-dramatises "certain events" the wrong way. ;)

I actually only read that today, apparently she watched the first two seasons with some family members and was most impressed but thought prince Phillip was misrepresented in Season 2. (He was port-raid as a bit of a prick !! :rofl )

I suspect it is closer to the truth than the Royals like to admit. Phil the Greek is a bit of a rough diamond. I was referring more to Charles' time at that Scottish school.

I started watching The Witcher last night and got through 3 of the 8 episodes in Season 1.

Very Game of Thronesish so whoever enjoyed that might like this too.

Prime has created a new Star Trek series... Piccard. Just watched the first episode. Looks to be a goodie. 8-)

It has a very good premise.
The dialogue lacks authenticity and depth. The dialogue is the big killer.
Has 'modern' syntax and almost no characterisation. No quirks, no interest or involvement.

Audio overall is poor.
