Now with mining boom #2 gathering steam the debt & deficit will be gone very shortly. Imagine if we did not have a populist PM 2001-7 buying elections with the proceeds of the mining boom!

The UK is much better off than most EU countries, even Germany has 8+% unemployment and growing.
