Anyone have a view on this?
Harry is now the only Royal I have respect for. Good on him for stepping away and doing his own thing. I can't help but laugh and shake my head at all the comments from people who claim "it's that scarlet woman Meghan's fault. How dare she ruin the Royal name! How scandalous."

But alas, this soap opera-esque "news" is distracting the people from the important stuff. :rofl
If he doesn't want to be a prince that's great. I just think he needs to do it on his terms and not get sucked into being Mr Markle.
And who says that he isn't doing it on his terms? News media doesn't always get it right. Often their stories are a "snapshot" of the truth with a bunch of biased bullshit thrown over the top.

In truth nobody really "knows" the relationship between Toad no.2 and Miss Markle. Yet people who obsess over the Royals, particularly the Royal supporters, will shout to the heavens that it's her fault with no evidence save for a tabloid magazine.

Harry is jumping from one fire to another. Meghan will want to raise their kids in a cheesy reality TV show. If Harry really wants out, he should grow a pair and take a job flying helicopters for the Canadian forest service and give his family some privacy. He couldn't get better PR than rescuing stranded hikers and chasing poachers. It would be good to be seen as not being above working for a living.
they say she wants to live in Amerika... omg that should give them the privacy they crave..
Canada is in North America... Did you forget about that?

So, now we understand that Canada is a part of the Queen's Commonwealth, and that the Queen has approved of the Sussex's residing part-time in a Commonwealth nation and part-time in the UK, I would suggest that ALL paid members of Our Royal house should do the same, with the view to uniting us into a powerful trading block.
We really have no idea what The Queen has "approved" of yet. Everybody is speculating. The "Royals" didn't ask to be born royal .... they have been that way since they were born. The spouses of "Royals" have to learn to toe the line .... some can, some can't.

I imagine that an "actress", divorcee, had stars in her eyes - perhaps the Cinderella complex - then I presume that she might be suffering from post-natal depression. That, too, will pass. Meanwhile, Harry is being the ever-loving hubby or she might cut off the you-know-what. :bgrin

Spitting the dummy, Meg is not a good look.

That's fine if Harry can support himself. The Brits won't be pleased if he retains all the funds he gets when he relocates.

Independent? LOL His security alone is millions a year.

Maybe Harry will end up in some Movie or other? James Bond, perhaps? :rofl

It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK.

Many Brits are fed up paying tax to keep the Royals afloat too, leeches with special privilege in a so-called "equal" society. If Brits suddenly take issue that Harry "takes the money and run" then they are also hypocrites. If your scenario happens, I will be experiencing sweet, sweet schadenfreude.

For those who don't know what it means..

schadenfreude
/ˈʃɑːd(ə)nˌfrɔɪdə,German ˈʃɑːdənˌfrɔydə/
Learn to pronounce
noun
noun: Schadenfreude; noun: schadenfreude

pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune.
"a business that thrives on schadenfreude"

I have always had a feeling this marriage is going to end in tears!

I hope for poor old Harry's sake I am wrong!
Harry had the pick of some very attractive English girls, with proper "background" credentials. He got conned by an Actress. She'll get what she wants and move on. I hope The Queen (and Charles) remove the HRH from their titles. Hope also that they had a "nuptial agreement" or whatever.

Already, it is reported, that Meghan's father is getting involved in the "law suit" about something or other regarding "text" messages or some such.

Trouble with a capital T. Harry is blind. I feel for poor little Archie.
