We had one or two drops this morning. I wouldn't even call them drops. It was more like a fine mist and was gone in the blink of an eye.
I was woken by the rain but it was short.
How's your garden going?

I don't have much of a garden now. Just enough that I can water by hand if I need to. Lots of brown crispy grass around though.

I've been draining the washing machine rinse cycle onto the grass and doing a few sneaky midnight watering sessions.

Every time I go outside the ground is wet but it's not raining. I hope the areas that really need it are getting more than I am. When it comes it's a very fine mist.

Didn't get the promised rain today.
There is a lot of smoke haze.
It gets in your throat and tasted terrible.
