Victorian Police Station Raises Communist China Flag

Post by Black Orchid » Thu Jan 02, 2020 11:06 pm

This is a couple of months old but the first I have heard of it. I know Liu cut the cake at another event but what the hell are the Victorian Police doing celebrating 70 years of communist rule and raising the flag above their police station?

:WTF

Image
Controversial Liberal MP Gladys Liu has distanced herself from the Box Hill Police Station’s celebration of the 70th anniversary of Chinese Communist Party rule, despite cutting the cake at a 70th anniversary event held minutes later.

The second event was hosted by a Chinese business association at the Box Hill Town Hall, 150m from the police station.

The Australian published a photograph of Ms Liu cutting the cake, alongside local state Labor MP Paul Hamer — who raised the Chinese flag at the police station event — and Whitehorse Mayor Bill Bennett and local state Liberal MP Neil Angus, both of whom were also present at the police station

I'm all for free speech and if XYZ company wants to fly the flag of Satan, more power to them. For a government office to fly the flag of another country is wrong on many levels.

Hi Texan.

The first time a Chinese premier (or dictator) visited Australia, he arrived at Canberra airport to be greeted by tens of thousands of "Australian" Chinese, all madly waving the PRC flag.

These "Australians" were ecstatic that their real national leader had come to and visit them.

Like many things that Bogan claims, like a helicopter crash that never happened, this is just another one of his prejudices showing through. :roll :roll

Well, the TV news media showed them stacked up like at Mao's birthday in Tienamin Square. Canberra is only a 3 hour drive from Sydney where you now need a Chinese passport to enter some suburbs.

Interestingly, the sight of tens of thousands of "Australian" Chinese waving the flag of the PRC in Australia's capitol city did not pass without notice and was commented upon by the media. The second time the Chinese Premier came to Australia, (probably to examine his governments purchases) the tens of thousands of 'Australian" Chinese had learned from their PR mistake. This time they were madly waving little Australian flags. I am sure the clever Chinese Premier was aware of the political necessity of them doing that. In fact, he had probably ordered them to do it. Red China desperately want Chinese immigration to continue and they can't have the stupid barbarians waking up that they are committing social self suicide.

It happened all right, Brian. I was there in Sydney when it happened.

And yet there is no evidence of it occurring. Gee, I guess the media gurus of the notorious Lovecraftian Horror who owns most of the media in Australia, has buried it, right? :roll :roll

As for the mythical "tens of thousands of Chinese Australians" who greeted the "Chinese Premier", well it was more than likely a few hundred at most but of course, in your racist ferver you have inflated the numbers tenfold, right? Tsk, tsk, reading your posts are always an adventure into your imagination, Bogan. :roll :roll

And once again, the resident mascot for moral purity has destroyed yet another topic with his mud-flinging and childish antics. Tsk Tsk, the playground is calling.

It happened, and I was in Sydney when it happened. It is one of those things you remember because it was so funny. A military helicopter crashing on it's demonstration flight, right in front of the Australian defence Department officials. If there is no record of it on Google,, it is probably because it was not considered a story significant enough to be widely publicised.

The TV showed an immense crowd of Chinese, Briney, all waving the PRC flag. This is such an embarrassment to you that you need to go into damage control. Why you even bother, I don't know. The idea that immigrants divest themselves of their loyalties to their former homelands, cultures, and races, went out the window a long time ago. Multiculturalism may be a self evident failure, Briney. But just like Creationists you will never face the unpalatable truth.
