Poor, poor, Trumptards. Tsk, tsk. :roll

Mate. he has 20/20 in his pocket. Love him or hate him, hes going to be the next Pres of the US of A,,
Oh, I agree. Trump however doesn't deserve to be el Presidente. He manipulated the electoral process in 2016. I don't doubt he will manipulate the electoral process in 2020. Always remember, he lost the popular election 2016 by nearly 3 million votes. :roll
You still don't get it. You never will. :rofl

As for "he manipulated the electoral process" seriously Brian what planet are you on? :rofl
He did not win the popular election. Clinton gained ~3 million more votes than Trump. When you recognise that "manipulating the electoral process" refers to him winning purely on the Electoral College results which are not representational of what the American voters wanted. Tsk, tsk. :roll
Brian the American system is based on the ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTING SYSTEM!! When will you understand that? It's been that way since 1787 I think.

Just because you don't agree with it does NOT mean that Trump "manipulated the electoral process".

Actually, the Electoral College preceded the popular vote in the US system, Black Orchid. It was created so that each state would elect it's members who in turn would vote to elect el Presidente. It was however, supplanted as the primary means of election in the 1880s by the Popular Voting system, where all citizens were meant to vote for the candidate of their choice. The Electoral College was chosen because of the prevalence of Slavery in America's south. Once the Civil War had happened and slavery ended, it was felt acceptable to extend the franchise to former slaves, although that was stopped by State Government's denying the right to vote to Black Citizens until the 1960s.

You're right, I don't agree with the Electoral College system. It denies the outcome of the popular vote which represents the wishes of the majority of voters. El Presidente' Trump exploited that and obviously doesn't care what the majority of voters wish had happened. Tsk, tsk. That you refuse to acknowledge what the majority of American voters sought in 2016 is IMHO despicable. :roll :roll

Next to Trump, my favourite US politician is former DA Trey Gowdy, who said that he hoped that the Dems would use the constitutional lawyers to testify ion front of the Senate, as all they would do was "put everybody to sleep."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds6iur0EdxI
Another U.S. politician you should check out is Louisiana senator John Kennedy (no, not THAT John Kennedy). His homespun Southern wit is frequently evident in his observations about politics, such as these comments about gun control:

1. "If you trust government, you obviously failed history class. The Native Americans gave up their guns, too."

2. "A lot of my colleagues in Washington D.C. say that England is such a wonderful place because they don't have guns. And if they think it's such a swell place, well, carry your happy ass" there.

And this quote about defense contractors fleecing the taxpayers: "We've got … some hogs who have all four feet and their snout in the trough."

He also said this about a Washington Post columnist who wrote a story advocating socialism: "It sounds like she was playing Frisbee in the quad during history class." (In case "quad" is not a familiar expression to Aussies, it refers to a four-sided lawn on a college campus.)

Then there's this observation about President Trump and his tendency to do things his own way: "As we say in Louisiana, President Trump is a hard dog to keep on the porch."

And this takedown of Hollywood culture: "I don't even know when they have time to make movies in Hollywood because it looks like they're all busy molesting each other."

Finally, Kennedy had this to say about the credit industry: "Credit monitoring companies collect our information without permission and sell that information to businesses. These companies then offer a premium service to make sure that the data they're collecting is accurate.

"It is ridiculous. I don't pay extra in a restaurant to prevent the waiter from spitting in my food."

Of course you disagree with the Electoral College system. Lefties always want to change the process when they can't win by the rules. It's like losing the Super Bowl and then complaining, "Well, who had the stupid idea to make touchdowns worth 6 points in the first place?"

If Trump had won the popular vote yet lost the presidential election, you'd be in here crowing about what a great idea the Electoral College was.

Lefties want to abolish the Electoral College because that way, their candidates could cater to the needs of New York City, Los Angeles and other coastal population hubs and ignore pretty much everybody in the middle of the country, not to mention small towns and less populated areas. So entire states, such as Wyoming, North Dakota and Nebraska, would essentially have no voice.

In the 2016 election, Trump won more than 2,600 counties across America, while Hillary won fewer than 500.

So there's nothing wrong with the Electoral College. It's been around since the '80s.

The 1780s.

Yeah, Granny Pantsuit wasn't exactly the ideal candidate.

She had the ethics of Bernie Madoff and the charisma of a crash-test dummy.

Plus, who could have stood to listen to that screechy, preachy voice for 4 years? Even an Islamic terrorist would have preferred waterboarding.

Really? Name one.

So far, they've got:

1. A goofy, gaffe-prone front-runner who likes kids on his lap and isn't always sure what state he's in ... and whose son made millions of dollars in foreign countries by trading on Daddy's influence.
2. Two socialists -- a geriatric with a bad heart and a fake Cherokee, both of whom want to radically change an economy that's the best in at least 50 years.
3. A small-time mayor who's under attack by his own city's black population and who couldn't even win his own state.
4. A white billionaire former mayor who's polling at about 4 percent and is famous for banning giant-size soft drinks.
5. Another white billionaire who thinks climate change is the most pressing issue in the country.

Now who out of that Star Wars bar is going to take down Trump? Especially when every one of their four leading candidates is on record as supporting free healthcare for illegal immigrants? Yeah, that's going to play real well in the Heartland.

Oh, dearie, dearie, me. Prove I have "knowingly told an untruth", Mechie? Or, like your mate, Cereal Brains, I will be forced to declare you are a "serial liar" as well. Here is your chance to quote where I have "lied" and provide a link to it:
