What a shame you've politicised your civil service to this extent, hey, 4E? Looks like you've cooked your own goose.
Congratulations, you've taken your first baby steps toward understanding why Trump was elected -- i.e., to "Drain the Swamp" of D.C.!
Now for the intermediate course:
Within the next hours we should be reading the Inspector General's report of FBI (and perhaps other agencies') misconduct in concocting the Russia collusion investigation of Trump. He'll also be testifying before Congress on Wednesday.
Will he soft-pedal the FBI's misdeeds? Some early media reports suggest that he will.
But even if he does, the attempted coup conspirators won't be able to breath easy. Attorney General William Barr, via his hand-picked investigator John Durham, is currently conducting a criminal investigation into whether the FBI had sufficient grounds for launching its investigation of Trump.

So even if the Inspector General's report lets the conspirators off the hook, the Attorney General will have the final say on whether the Obama holdovers are charged with federal crimes.
