City of Sydney lord mayor Clover Moore has lashed federal Energy Minister Angus Taylor's use of a false document to attack the council's travel expenses in a dispute over climate change as "truly shocking" because the claims it contained were "so fantastical".
Cr Moore said she had been "attacked over many years by key people" but the letter she received from Mr Taylor accusing City of Sydney councillors of racking up a multi-million dollar travel bill when the organisation was emphasising its green credentials as "extraordinary".

Taylor makes extraordinary claims on Clover Moore's council using either fraudulent documents or misled government.
I am left wondering, just how Morrison can continue to support this minister??? No matter his error in this matter, if he forged the documents or was unwitting victim. he chose to vilify Moore using false and clearly misleading evidence that could well have been verified as false by simply asking.
He could have been set up, however, that would be important in the fact that somebody else is misleading official figures. If so they should be held to account as well. it will be interesting to see just how badly Morrison handles this issue.

I am concerned about how Morrison will handle this. I can't stand Clover Moore but it seems that Taylor is clearly in the wrong. I worry that some of these fools suffer from mental illness.

I think this is possibly a defining moment for Morrison. Clearly Taylor has failed in action and ability by not checking the information provided. I don't know how Morrison can continue to support him in this roll.

We already have a thread ‘Morrison must go’ but since the reason I believe he needs to go, sits squarely on this subject, I decided to post here.
This week has seen the true colours of Morrison. Until now, I would have said there is a reasonable explanation to remain silent on many issues he has been chastised for not addressing.
I think I have already said, Taylor should go just for the fact he was so inept to use said paper without the minimum effort to verify the figures. So the fact Morrison would now defend this useless effort is little telling of his judgement and the fact he would surround himself with inept and useless ministers. I can understand ALP leaders because they are appointed by the party but the Coalition has no rule as such.
BUT not only that, Morrison called his mate to find out about the investigation. Seriously??? I will not skip around the point here, that is flat out corruption. A sitting PM, calling the head of ANY police force to question an investigation??? If it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck it god dam well isn’t a chook. The simple fact a PM would call any investigative body under such circumstances, is clear message that the PM wants certain outcome of investigation. To then go forth and continue to support the investigated minister is clear message to the investigators that the expected outcome is nothing.
This is nothing less than a corrupt act of a sitting PM and he is proud to proclaim his corruption by claiming he should be applauded for telling everybody he is going to corrupt an investigation and then actually doing it.
I seriously believe, This PM needs to go. Not only has he demonstrated he cannot focus on more than on issue at a time, losing his Union vote while trying to corruptly defending the complete ineptitude of a minister, let alone the questionable activity he is being investigated for. Does this minister have photos of Morrison and a goat or something??? He would have lost NOTHING to stand him down and bring forward another, but he chose to commit some very serious and questionable actions.

What about Gillard and Shorten and thommo and Slipper ?
They were all under much more serious investigation but did they step aside ?
Of course not as Labor and the Unions reward corrupt behavior.
ScoMo is totally correct as Taylor has already apologized for his error and silly Albo has roared in with this farce clenched in his teeth and is trying to create a distraction to take attention away from Labor's own shambolic brothel.
The Albo Schoolboy stumbles badly

What about them??? As I stated, he should be stood down for his either complete incompetence or his inept ability in this matter. I don't see how this matter could be any worse for a sitting member to demonstrate his capabilities and intentions. In this matter, I would have to say, Taylor would rate below the Greens in this outlandish behaviour and lies.
BUT, for a sitting PM to call the head of a body who is investigating one of his ministers, that is corruption at its basics. I am sure it happened during Shorten and Gillard, but two wrongs don’t make it right.
No, Morrison clearly shows just how foolish he is. How can Australia lecture the rest of the world on corruption when the head of the nation corrupts investigations into his government??? Just to protect incompetence and lies…

Morrison really does have a gang of muppets in his government. First we have Cash, then we have il Duce' Dutton and now we have Taylor. Tsk. tsk. Remember, folks, this was the government that you all seemed to want back in May.
