Perhaps the woman was using somebody else's welfare card (a friend or relative?) and driving her own expensive vehicle?

How do you know she isn't milking the system? LOTS of people do exactly that and it's rife here as well.

How do you know she isn't milking the system? LOTS of people do exactly that and it's rife here as well.

I know of one woman here who shops at a community food source place. She wears designer clothes and drives a brand new BMW. She's married to a Barrister and is apparently going through a divorce.

She goes to the gym in the mornings so cannot get to the 'co-op' until around 12.00 pm whereas the poor people queue up before 8.00 am. So what do the volunteers do? They grab the best of everything early for her so she doesn't have to queue up with the plebs and then she rocks in, bags it all up and zooms off.

There could be extenuating circumstances, who knows? But at face value it appears as it is and the 'poor' who have been lining up for hours are really pissed off to the extent they almost riot.

Tex's story reminded me of this.

IMO she is rorting the system and the volunteers hold the same view but they have to do what the 'boss' tells them to do.
