The decision comes days after the president cancelled the White House’s print subscriptions to the Post and the Times after expressing frustration with their coverage.
“We don’t even want it in the White House anymore,” Mr. Trump said of the Times during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity that aired Monday night.
“We’re going to probably terminate that and the Washington Post. They’re fake.”
Additionally, The Journal reports that a White House official confirmed that print editions of the Times and the Post weren’t among the newspapers delivered to the White House on Thursday.

As for Trump canceling the New York Times and Washington Post, that's his prerogative. The American taxpayer has no obligation to subsidize either newspaper, especially given their endless crusade to take down Trump (as evidenced by these leaked remarks from the editor during an NYT staff meeting: https://www.dailywire.com/news/leaked-t ... es-barrett).

Plus, it's not as if the Obama administration felt any obligation to purchase right-wing publications for federal workers during the previous 8 years.

Let the NYT and WaPo scrounge for readers without the government's assistance.

What I find interesting is how you ignore what the Right are doing and have been doing for generations in the US, 4E.

I limit my comments of course, expressly to the US to avoid the usual, "Oh, but in such and such country" which you'll come back with.

In the US you have the KKK which attacked Blacks and to a less extent Jews and Catholics if they expressed their views on what the Whites were doing. They lynched, they burned Black churches, they killed Black men, women and children, they murdered White activists, they raped Black women. And guess what? They basically got away with it. You had the White controlled right-wing state legislatures who prevented Blacks from registering to vote. You had the White controlled right-wing Congress allowing the segregation of Blacks from Whites across the Southern states. You had the right-wing controlled congress allowing Joe McCarthy to persecute Leftists through the House Committee on UnAmerican Activities.

You had the Right-wing controlled Police Departments persecuting citizens - they still do apparently.

Your country's right-wing is definitely with a whole load of sin of it's own...

I wouldn't call the KKK "right-wing." I'd call them "Democrats."

In any case, it's been about a half century since the KKK exerted any significant influence. Their strength was estimated at "No more than a few thousand" in 1999, which shouldn't keep anybody up at night in a nation of more than 300 million citizens.

And who says police departments are "right-wing controlled"? In Portland and Berkeley, the masked leftist thugs of Antifa committed violence and vandalism while cops stood by and watched, thanks to sympathetic left-wing mayors who gave stand-down orders.

Only problem with that, 4E is that the Democrats and the Republicans have exchanged names, symbols and policies over the last 150 years. Which of course means that the Democrats of today are the Republicans of yesteryear and so for the Republicans being the Democrats. So, before throwing mud, make sure you know who you're throwing it and where you're getting it.

The KKK has long been a separate organisation, controlled and organised by it's own members. Out of a matter of interest, did you watch the movie, "Blackkkklansman"? Very funny. Very damning. I'd heartily recommend it to you.

I'd also recommend "Mississippi Burning" about the murder of several white activists in that state in the early-mid-1960s. Very damning, very telling. Is that something you, as a member of the Right are proud of?

Then we have "Good Night, and Good Luck", all about Ed Murrow and Joe McCarthy. Another icon of the Right. Proud of him and his efforts to create a police state in the US?

These are not fake stories, made up in some scriptwriters' minds. They are based on facts. I'm sure there are others I could dig up.

There are problems with the extreme elements on both sides of politics. The middle is what concerns me, 4E. What about you or are you so committed to destroying the Left that you'd like to dress in a black uniform and open concentration camps?

Personally, I'd be divorcing myself from the Right toute sweete if I subscribed to it's idea of politics.
