Where are they now?

Post by Hebe » Mon Oct 21, 2019 11:07 am

I don’t recognise a lot of the posters here any more. Some I remember from the past are Event Horizon, Cynic, Kanki, Ravi, Mattus, Deepthought, Aussie and his taxi stories, Machiavella (we were really good friends), Jovial Monk, Animal Mother and Doc who were the moderators, Freediver, JW Frogen and a few more. I can’t remember the name, but one often used to say “I am really engry”.

Anyone know what happened to them? I was in touch with Deepthought for a while till the network manager (my husband) tried to install some really shit new software on my PC and I lost all my info - email contacts, photos, everything.
The better I get to know people, the more I find myself loving dogs.

I think it was Cynik (sp). If anyone is in touch with Deepthought I’d love to be in touch with him again. He was the one who told me about this board.

Nobody remembers these members? How can you call yourself “The Real PA” without recalling its history or members?

You know where Aussie and Monk are. Some of those you mentioned were run off by a certain member (I don't need to mention the name) Mattus and Animal Mother being amongst them. A couple of others you can find on social media outlets if you knew them well.

From what I can tell you haven't been around since early 2014 and people move on, for one reason or another. Lives and circumstances change over a period of many years. I, for one, am not doing the same things I did many years ago or even have the same views for that matter.

Freediver is still around so perhaps you could take that up with him?

I haven’t been around since my mother died, that’s why that was. But I always had very fond memories of PA, and I’m sorry to hear someone seems to have got rid of a lot of members I recall with affection.

I’m still a bit bemused by the name, given that I can’t even see my old posts since they’re in the Archive, which I can’t access.

Your posts are still here. There are 87 visible pages of them if you check your post count.

The Vortex and Cess Pitt sub-forums were moved to Archives a very long time ago. Years ago. Guest posting was allowed in those forums which turned them vengeful, heated, nasty and extremely ugly and so they were abandoned and archived.
