...................... “I support President Trump because…..

He thinks outside the box and tells it like it is…he’s genuine and I think that’s a breath of fresh air;
He has the brains, drive and determination to be successful;
He takes action, and gets things done in the real world;
He will keep my family safe from outside threats & illegal immigration;
And I know he’s shaking up the status quo in Washington and putting our country ahead of partisan politics.
He’s exactly what our country needs!” ........................

Yeah, but that’s not Trump. And I’d prefer a husband who didn’t communicate via Twitter. :roll: Jesus his supporters are morons.

In the sense that they don’t oppose his treatment of women, he’s insulted the first black woman who won a seat for the Repugs in Parliament, he won’t do anything about gun laws, he’s a tax evader, he claims he’s the best president the US has ever had, he’s threatening to draw us into another war in the Middle East, he’s dumb as dogshit, his staff are gradually deserting him as they realise what he’s like, he makes up crimes that other people have committed in order to cover up his own, he has no economic understanding, he’s childish = and they think that’s OK? Jesus Christ. :nah

In THAT sense.

Yeah, for two years. Compare Repug Trump with Republican Abraham Lincoln and see how far that party has fallen. :nah

I'll be the first to admit that Trump sometimes talks too much, but he has been great for America by his policies. He has my vote for as long as he agrees with me. He has slipped up a time or two on policy and his base has called him on it. Like when he suggested confiscating guns before due cause was found, he walked that back quickly. Trump had better not touch our gun laws. Mexico is supporting our border security. We are renegotiating trade with several countries. I don't care for tariffs, but the threat of tariffs have been great for America.

Our media has declared war on Trump and his administration. This has led to a higher than normal turnover, but they are getting the job done. The media are beside themselves because they can't hurt Trump. This is because the people elected Trump because of the media. We are tired of big government from both sides of the isle. We could stand to lose a few more RINOS and replace them with true conservatives. If Trump wins another term next year, we have a good shot at that.

As the father of a US military member, I appreciate that he hasn't started wars all over the world. He has shown great restraint and seems to be withdrawing us from acting like the world's police force while making our military stronger. I wish he hadn't caved on the last budget deal to increase military funding, but we did need the military funding.

Why did Lincoln not end slavery in the North until 1863? Why did Lincoln's main general (Johnson) own slaves, while the South's general (Lee) never own any? The Civil War was more about state's rights and the right of secession than about slaves. As wrong as slavery was, it wasn't the cause of the war.

As the father of a military member, you’re OK with his putting your child in danger? And he a draft dodger? You’re OK with events like Sandy Hook? Your electoral system sucks. Hillary got more votes than he did. Your elections are held on TUESDAY FFS! Half the US population doesn’t even bother to vote, lazy arseholes. Your Mexican wall is the laughing stock of the world. Trump repeatedly refers to himself as the greatest and best US president ever. He’s a racist. He’s treats women appallingly. He’s a bully.

As for the Second Amendment, I’ve been wishing for a long time that someone would use it on Trump.
And for the best commentary on your gun laws:
