For some reason you have 2 end quotes with a /. It should be (youtube]insert link here[/youtube]. Is this it?

Yes, that’s it! Thank you (again). It seems to be a problem inserting the link, and the two YouTube texts appear almost inseparately and I have to put spaces between them in order to copy the link in. Is that normal? I’m so very sorry to be causing so much trouble, and I’m so grateful for your help. I have say, using the PC was much easier. I only got an ipad when my mother died and I inherited hers (this is a later one).

Anyway, back to Smokie. I just adored Chris Norman. Most of the stuff I listen to is from the ‘60s and ‘70s. (Because that was the BEST music.)

And I have to say I’m enjoying being back here enormously.

It's really tricky to try to get your cursor in between the brackets to insert the link and can be extremely frustrating. An easier way can be to just paste your link then highlight it. After it's highlighted then click the Youtube link and it will enclose the highlighted text if that makes sense? On a PC I just click 3 times and the whole line highlights but I think you said you were on an iPhone or iPad? If so, I have no clue how to do it there, sorry.
