If you expect me to read your mind, Brian, it isn't going to happen. I wouldn't know where to begin! Seriously are you having an 'episode' today? :b

Oh, dearie, dearie, me. More ad hominem argument, Black Orchid? Really?

The one in the poofy pink undies is Brian.

The one in the grey is Bobby trying not to get an erection at the big fat fluffy bunny in red.

There were angry scenes during rush hour this morning as London commuters fought back against Extinction Rebellion environment protesters.

People stuck at Canning Town station cheered loudly as an activist from the protest group was dragged to the floor after climbing on top of a busy commuter train.

Video shared on social media appeared to show a number of protesters on top of a Tube carriage.

people starting to get sick of it all.

These people are brainless. Inconveniencing thousands of people just trying to get on a train to get to work isn't a sensible way to spread their 'message'. This is why people just tune out or just end up ignoring or opposing the 'message' of these morons.

The same could be said of any demonstration, Black Orchid. However, in some cases, someone does take notice and joins in. The Moratorium Marches of the early 1970s were high successful and forced a change of policy on the Tory Government of the day yet later marches as big, over gun rights failed dismally. The public just wasn't interested in that message.

Our population was only 12 million in the early 70s. Today we have more than double that and the protesters of today are totally in your face and intent on causing as much disruption to every day people as they can en masse and people just trying to get on with their every day lives and get to work and earn a wage don't appreciate it.

Find a less disruptive and less violent way if you wish people to listen to and support you. I would hazard a guess and say that most of these current lot of protesters don't even work. According to them the world will end in 10 years so I imagine they think there's no point in them working?

Population is only half the story, Black Orchid. People weren't interested in gun rights, they were appalled at the ongoing story of gun massacres. People were interested in Vietnam - their sons could be called upon to serve there. People are concerned with Climate Change. Some people may be annoyed at Extinction Rebellion, the majority are interested in what they are saying. :thumb

Rubbish. Clearly the majority are intensely annoyed by their tactics which detracts from anything they are 'saying'.

Seriously BO, this cause has merit... Real merit... The kind of merit that justified the suffragettes' making a public nuisance through civil disobedience. Biodiversity matters. This extinction event that we are in the midst of is worthy of fighting for the sake of everyone!
