Nicole Kidman is on the guest list for the state dinner Morrison is having with Trump. Bad choice imo. Hugh Jackman would have been a far better choice.

Kidman is what el Presidente Trump likes to look at (and apparently grab). Jackman'd likely punch his lights out if el Presidente Trump grabbed him.

What a fkn disgrace....can you imagine constable plod on his hands and knees looking for small change under the seat
in your car...then giving you a traffic infringement notice, bagging a ten cent coin as evidence and taking it back to the
police station and doing the appropriate paper work....all because of an obvious cash grab.....
At one end we have morrisons cash grab on everything over ten grand which is stalling in parliament because everyone
sees how rubbery it is....and on the other hand we have constable plod looking for loose change under your seat....
Fkn bullshit...just bullshit....
Imagine the abuse the cops will get from drivers....ffs.....

NSW police say driver safety is the main reason for a new initiative to seize loose change from cars.

“Drivers go to extraordinary lengths to pick up loose coins they notice, sometimes even while the car is in motion,” says Inspector Paul Markson. “Loose coins within cars are a safety hazard.”

That’s why NSW police have today announced the introduction of Random Coin Testing.

“Similar to Random Breath Testing, we’ll be pulling over cars and searching them for loose change,” says inspector Markson. “Any coins found loose within vehicles will be confiscated immediately.”

Police admit that Random Coin Testing will also be an important new source of state government revenue.

“We estimate there’s currently around $4 million worth of loose change in NSW vehicles.”

Random Coin Testing will commence on October 11 on undisclosed NSW roads.

Drivers are urged to keep all coins contained securely within the vehicle’s sealed compartments.
Well that would have to be one of the more bizarre things I have read lately. Random Coin Testing? Give me a break! What a dishonourable way to try to raise more revenue! Here's another one ...
New South Wales police have been opening cars and checking for valuables as part of a crackdown that invokes an obscure road rule that results in people being fined for forgetfulness.

Yes, people in NSW can be fined $108 for leaving their car unlocked.

I see the RACQ has pinged some service stations for upping the price of petrol to 1.77 per litre….
In 2018 Brent oil was $88 per barrel....currently its $22 a barrel lower....
Why then hasn't the price of petrol come down....
Of course our gutless grubberment says it cant do a thing about it......bullshit....
Its all about the taxes which flow from petrol purchases..
Oh btw...with school holidays upon us, its a great time to put prices up....
What a con..all with the grubberment turning a blind eye...
The days of $1.22 per litre are long gone....
Get ready for two bucks a litre...and the grubberment wont do a thing about it....
How will that effect the peasants who are already up to their bottom lips in debt....
No...we're not in a recession..or heading towards it...…..bullshit......

Commonwealth Bank of Australia's life insurance arm CommInsure has been charged with 87 counts of hawking life insurance products, in a case that will be prosecuted by the Commonwealth Department of Public Prosecutions.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission alleges between October and December 2014 Comminsure unlawfully sold life insurance policies known as "Simple Life" over the phone.

It alleges it did so through telemarketing firm Aegon Insights Australia, providing customer contact details to the firm from its existing customer database.

ASIC alleges the calls to CBA customers "were unsolicited, and that CommInsure did not comply with all of the hawking exceptions in section 992A(3) of the Corporations Act".

The maximum penalty for each of the charges is $21,250, meaning it faces a total penalty of $1.859 million.

www.apimagazine.com.au/property-investm ... ncil-rates

Did I say once that state and federal governments in Australia are a disgrace.
Well, add local government to that category.
Apparently in that backwater called Queensland, the local council can charge you more for your rates
if the property is an investment property.
Am I missing something here...
What right has a council got to up your rates if the property is an investment property.
Its in the Court of Appeal at the moment....
Imagine the class actions if the Councils appeal is dismissed...
The peasants are getting ripped off left right and centre in Ozz…
No wonder the entire world is revolting....the peasants have had a gutful...... :WTF
