If its illegal to smoke pot and the ACT say it isn't, then the legislation in the ACT is a horses arse….

Great to see the ACT legalizing marijuana.....I suppose plenty of children conceived/carried by mothers whilst
smoking pot will be born as fruitloops…..I suppose the next step is for them to allow pill testing at music/drug
festivals in the ACT....ooops...sorry..theyve done that already...no wonder our kids are growing up morons......

That's the the problem -
morons will smoke it and create more morons.

Don't you think Court time should be spent on things more important than smoking a joint?
Yes.
Also people should not be legally persecuted for s victimless crime
The effects of a legal battle can be very bad

Personally I think weed/pot/dope should be legalised and anti-depressants criminalised.

The Fed govt's rebuttal made the claim there is research indicating cannabis caused schizophrenia. Absolute rubbish!
There is no such research. All there is are claims made by the Anglican Church in England's 'Schizophrenia Fellowship' who've rebranded themselves 'Rethink' making the unsubstantiated claim.

Schizophrenia is caused by inbreeding and it's hereditary. So you're either born with the defect or not. It's induced by vitamin B and zinc deficiencies. That's why alcohol induced schizophrenia is so common, alcohol removes Vitamin B from the body.
The reason druggies become schizos is because they spend their money on drugs instead of decent food.

Several years ago our Fed govt of the day claimed hydroponic cannabis was causing psychosis in youth.
But as a Sunshine Coast doctor who specialises in addictions illuminated, it's not the weed causing the psychotic episodes it's the heavy metals in the hydroponic fertiliser. Which has implications for the hydroponically grown food industry, motivating me to speculate on the cover up - Blame the weed to protect the tax revenue from hydroponic food growers.

As for anti-depressants, my opinion is that the users are often dangerous. They're as addicted as a heroin addict for the same reason as a heroin addict, the substance enlarges endorphin receptors requiring the user to unnaturally increase endorphin levels.
With heroin it's dopamine, with anti-depressants it's serotonin. Without the drug they can't function.

I've noticed the Prozac junkies had psychopathic tendencies before the flipped out with Bi-polar or whatever. When other's call out their BS or refuse to be manipulated anymore that's when they have their crisis. And the drug (anti-depressants) just helps them be sneaky like a speed/ice junkie again.

EDIT ADDITION: The Canadians have research data from trials on rats that cannabis is a better anti-depressant than anti-depressants.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

As a result, weed can be classified as a depressant, stimulant, or hallucinogen, according to the University of Maryland. However, it’s never classified as an opiate.

I am not sure how anybody could think a depressant could be considered to treat depression. It is like telling chronic depressed people to drink alcohol more. Sure alcoholism is great at treating serous conditions, so much so they prescribe regular visits to the pub...

All I can say is, mental illness is rising in western nations and I would suggest in many ways it comes down to the abuse of mind altering substances. So watch how increasing mental illness grows in the wake of ignoring drug abuse. Watch how mental illness costs rise to treat mental illness, and watch how the ever increasing welfare demand for the people who suffer long term mental illness that affects their ability to contribute to community.
