they didnt basket weave or make flour. like many ethnic groups have done for centuries

in the northern hemisphere they learnt very quickly how to make and wear animal skins

for 40.000 years the aboriginal doesnt have a lot to show for it..

I dont mind that they were simple and hunters and gathers they found no need to advance..

but instead of relishing the joys of progress... all they do is whine....

no one forces them to drink or sniff petrol or abuse their kids.....

if they want to wander the outback naked and spear fish they can do so it would be accepted because its their culture....

.but dont ask whitey to put in electricity and running water....they managed without it for 40.000 years...

Errr, they did basket weave and made flour, Cods. Time to learn some real Australian history, methinks.

Except for the circumstances that White society has forced them into, Cods. Why do White people abuse themselves and soak themselves in alcohol and use drugs, hey? Could it because they are poor and see no way out?

It would be wonderful wouldn't it? Problem is that White people have removed their role models and showed them an easier way of life. No role models, no knowledge of how to hunt, how to survive naked (although they were usually at least partially clothed in real life) and of course, they no longer have the lands to hunt on any more, White Fellas have taken those...

Oh yes, big bad evil white society that you're more than happy to partake in when it suits you. You've had a good life, managed to get 50,000 uni degrees, a job, a family and kids? If "evil whitey" hadn't stolen the Abo's land years ago, you wouldn't have the life you have now. We all wouldn't have. You probably wouldn't have met your wife, and wouldn't have had children. But you're happy to sit here and be the mighty heroic champion of social justice, condemning evil white man (to this day) when your beloved pollies and government continue to pump money in a some vain attempt to atone for the sins of the past.

No role models, no knowledge how to hunt? Here's a program that benefits the boong and tries to get them out of the endless cycle of petrol sniffing and poverty.

Aboriginal Ranger Program
The government recognises the social, cultural and environmental benefits of Aboriginal ranger programs and is aware of the excellent work that has already been undertaken by established Aboriginal ranger groups throughout the State. Such programs have provided an integral step towards improved community wellbeing and reducing poverty through economic opportunities and building leadership in remote and regional communities.

Led by the Aboriginal community and Aboriginal organisations with support from the Parks and Wildlife Service at the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions and across government, the program is helping Aboriginal organisations manage country and protect the environment across WA in partnership with the public and private sectors. Funding is available for jobs for Aboriginal rangers, training, and community development.

Since its commencement in 2017-18, the program has continued to train and employ Aboriginal people as rangers to undertake land and sea management activities including:

biodiversity monitoring and research
traditional knowledge transfer
fire management
cultural site management
feral animal and weed management
cultural awareness and immersion experiences for visitors
guided welcome to country tours and/or talks for visitors
management of visitors or tourists and tourism assets education programs and mentoring.
So, not only does this program educate boongs in their culture, it allows them to educate evil whitey on the topics.

This is one of many programs that helps the boong, who (in most cases) continues to act like scummy plebs, bashing women, molesting children, consuming goonbags and cheap bottles of whatever they can get their smelly hands on, sniffing petrol and yelling at an innocent white person all because they denied them a cigarette.

You can lead a horse to water -- but you can't make them drink. Fine, keep smelling like you slept in a rubbish tip for a week. But don't blame anybody but yourself and don't keep expecting handouts all because you're a poor oppressed blacky still suffering from the deeds that happened years ago. Get over it, you weren't even there.

But hey, this is my fault because I have white skin. It's your fault too, because you're white. I bet the boongs who continue to demand blood for what happened years ago would be really impressed with you, capitalizing off of their trauma and pain, with your fancy job, your 50,000 uni degrees, your happy home life with wife and kids.

I have yet to meet an doctor, lawyer, accountant, dentist, or any other professional person
in my travels on this planet who was indigenous....
BUT my dentist is pakistani, my doctor is sri lankan, and my accountant is indian...and my lawyers firm has Chinese partners....
Where are all the skilled indigenous....answer.....there arent any....but they can kick a football....
..well..some of them...
Why pray tell....well...because none of them have any brains, and are all the result of poor, incompetent
parenting....
One only has to visit Doomadgee in outback Qld, or any other indigenous settlement to see how they live....
No, I havent been there, but I have heard first hand of another persons experiences there over several years....
Nothing seems to have changed much since my childhood days, when indigenous kids came to school with no
shoes, shirt hanging out, no lunch, nose running off their face, hair uncombed...etc etc...
But I often saw male indigenous groups sitting under a local bridge swigging from a flagon or three....
BUT billions of dollars have been thrown at them since then....
Go to Redfern and see what they do to houses....they destroy them...and its not just Redfern....
AS I said...nothing changes.....and its all our fault.....well...not exactly.....

Funny you should mention that. The number of University Graduates who are indigenous Australians has increased markedly from the days of Charlie Perkins, the first Indigenous Graduate (in only 1966!). Today, there are approximately 30,000 with university degrees. Hardly a massive leap, when on considers that only approximately 1,000 Indigenous Students apply each year to Tertiary education institutions to study.

Rather understandable considering that only approximately 46% of Indigenous students reach Year 12 or qualify for Tertiary studies.

Of course, it is easy to blame the Indigenous kids for their plight. Why though, aren't you heaping the same amount of insult on White students who don't complete Year 12 or qualify to study at University? Oh, that's right, that's 'cause they're white, right? Tsk, tsk.

Some monkeys and apes are now in the stone age, so puts them in the same grouping as pre-white Aboriginals.

White people generally don't hang out in groups drinking in shopping centre car parks and screeching at everybody who walks past for handouts.

But yes, many white folks imitate the behaviour of the boong -- there's a popular term for it. It's called 'white boong'.

Over $30 billion per year on 500,000 people obviously isn't enough. :b

It's never enough. We will be paying for the sins of the past (even though we weren't there, based purely on the fact that we have white skin) for the next 100 years... that's if the country hasn't turned to complete post apocalyptic shit by then.
