Armed Robber Receives Award
A Darwin Award. He tried to rob the wrong phone store. In TX, this clerk would be celebrated. We’ll see how it turns out in Philadelphia. I’m very curious, as the video shows everything. It seems that the clerk did everything perfectly.

That's one armed robber whose recidivism rate will be 0%.

If I lived there, I would feel very safe about going to Metro PCS. In fact, if they let him keep his job, I may switch to PCS when our phone contract expires. I'll definitely consider it. A few years ago, an Auto Zone was being robbed and the employees were in danger of being killed. An employee sneaked out and got his gun out of his car and shot and killed the robber. Auto Zone fired him for violating company policy and I quit shopping at Auto Zone.
1. He was aware of his surroundings and was not caught by surprise.
2. He waited until the robber pulled his gun and made his threat and he waited for a better opportunity.
3. When the robber started adjusting his hoody and was distracted, he made his move.
4. After he stopped the robber, he stepped outside to look for accomplices and catch his breath.
I bet he fired all 10 shots in less than 3 seconds. Blame it on adrenaline and move on. It's a clear case of self defense. It's pretty obvious that the guy has received training and practiced. His holster and concealment were very practical and accessible. It wouldn't surprise me if he does competitive shooting. I wonder what kind of equipment he used. I think it helped him that he is left handed.

If I had a gun pointed at me, and with no means of escape, I probably would have shot him too.

Good news. The store clerk will not be charged with a crime. I also found out where he got his training. He is in the Marine Reserves.

It doesn't show the actual shooting and there is no sound.
Don't accuse me of being a ghoul.

I think showing it on the internet or late news would be a public service.Bobby wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 1:57 pmTexan wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 1:10 pmGood news. The store clerk will not be charged with a crime. I also found out where he got his training. He is in the Marine Reserves.

Hi Texan,
I wouldn't feel good about shooting and killing that guy.
Maybe if he was given $50 he would have walked out happy?
I'd rather lose $50 than have a person's death on my conscience forever.
The problem is that there's not enough social security in America.
Maybe that guy was hungry or couldn't pay his rent or electricity bill?
America is a shit society if you're out of work and even people who do work
often get below poverty money.

Agreed. I wouldn’t want to kill anybody, but I won’t ignore a threat. The dead guy made the threat when he pulled a gun out of his pocket. The same could be said if I drew my gun in public, and I am licensed to carry in 32 states. I think showing the shooting would act as a deterrent. I would limit the showing to ways that are unlikely to be seen by kids.Bobby wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 3:10 pmTexan wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 2:48 pmI think showing it on the internet or late news would be a public service.Bobby wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 1:57 pmTexan wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 1:10 pmGood news.
