Can you show something which substantiates that, Bogan?Incidentally, the japs sent a military attaché to Australia to investigate the idea of arming aborigines to fight against the white man. The attaché reported to Tokyo that Australian aborigines "would not even make good slaves."

No WR.
I am practically an authority on D-Day and the battles of the South west Pacific, but it was just something I once read in a book somewhere that stuck in my head because it was so funny.

He must have been a very fast worker as the Japanese embassy was only established on 2 January 1941 and was suspended on 8 December 1941. The Japanese would have known about Indigenous Australians from the Japanese pearl divers at Broome but their contact would have been limited. The Japanese did not have a high opinion of many nationalities but I doubt they would have made any judgement about Indigenous Australians as far as their suitability as "slaves". I doubt that a Japanese "military attache" would have had the wherewithall to get from Canberra to Darwin and return before WWII broke out.
Many Australians had little contact with Indigenous Australians before WWII. In early 1942 the Australian High Command was considering massacring all Indigenous Australians in the Northern Territory, in case the Japanese landed and used them against the white authorities. More sensible heads prevailed though and Indigenous Australians formed a native Home Guard for the NT Coast and in particular in Arnhem Land. The first Japanese prisoner captured was the pilot of a IJN plane which was damaged whilst attacking Darwin was captured by an Indigenous Australian on Melville Island off the coast, when he crashlanded, brandishing IIRC a toy gun.

OK, so that's, one Australian departed from New Zealand and thousands of New Zealanders deported from Oz. Australia is still ahead by a big margin. Go Dutton.

DId they, Brian? Well, to start with, you seem to be confirming that the idea that aborigines could be used against whites during a Japanese invasion was a valid idea. But of course only the evil white men could think of something like that, eh, Brian? Everybody knows how humane and proper the Japanese were and such a thought would never have occurred to those civilised non oppressors.Brian Ross wrote

You better let Peter Reid know about that one. You know, Reid was the inventor of the "stolen generations" BS. This new fanciful allegation should get Peter foaming at the mouth and heading for the newspapers with the "genocidal generations" theory to stir up aboriginal hostility and outrage again and hopefully get another round of "compensation" court cases going. But I fear that the High Court will slap your latest allegation down like they did the so called "stolen generations" (which some honest indigenous I hear call the "saved generations".)

No they haven't. These are pictures a friend of mine posted on another website. Took a little tracking down but I found them:
They were posted on 24 July and 15 August this year. They show Tiger helicopters flying over Oakey, the Australian Army Aviation base in Queensland.

And I posted a youtube link that said they had been grounded and they were pieces of crap, so I have evidence that what I wrote was supported. What are you up to here, Brian? Is it because I am so far ahead of you on points that the only recourse you have is to examine every point I make in the hope that you an find something, anything, that is not quite correct, or which I am unable to verify? I don't care, Brian. I am so far ahead of you on points that I can take the odd one on the chin without worrying about whether I am losing the fight.
