You are going to have the biggest, bloodiest civil war ever. And by the way, the U.K. couldn't swallow the hard fact that old generations Americans beat them at their game and gained an indipenced, so now the U.K. has established control over you in other, smarter ways. Through Wall Streets, stocks, banks, and even Hollywood. The Dutch are small fish. They can't fart without London allowing it!
The4thEstate wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 8:45 amAnd I thought the Cold War was a thing of the past! Wow, reading your posts is like listening to Radio Moscow, circa mid-1970s. What a quaint nostalgia trip!
Guess you can take the boy out of Soviet domination, but you can't take the Soviet domination out of the boy!
I must say ... from Alexander the Great to Mikhail Gorbachev, you Bulgarians have quite a proud history of being subjugated. Sounds like you're still missing the good old days.
Ummm ... I'm not responsible for what Aussie, Mothra and Smith called you. And I never called you a Commie. So I'm afraid I can't relate to any of your unhinged ramblings.
What I said was that your posts sound like Cold War propaganda. That doesn't necessarily make you a Commie, just a very confused and deluded Bulgarian. Obviously, you still haven't figured out which of the two countries -- Russia vs. the United States -- stands on the side of freedom.
Says the clown who originally claimed I was from Oregon. Way to get your facts straight, Stephen Hawking Jr.!
Oh, so now I'm from Indiana? I didn't know I could be from Indiana AND Oregon at the same time.
Nobody cares about your birth date, Narcissist Boy -- the point is that you talk like some Radio Moscow announcer spewing Cold War propaganda against the United States. Was it nature or nurture that made you such a Nikita groupie?
Once again we have to consider the history of Bulgaria. I mean, like some "Fifty Shades of Gray" submissive, you guys seem content, even excited, to live under other people's domination.
Or maybe, like the small, skinny kid who gets his lunch money stolen by bullies on the way to school every day, Bulgarians just aren't capable of standing up for themselves.
Whatever the case, here's the hilarious truth that you have to swallow: In 2004 your country joined NATO, whose strongest, most protective member is -- wait for it! -- the United States. It's like the runt kid finally convincing his weightlifting older brother to walk him to school every day.
But I ask you, where's the appreciation? One would think that you and the rest of your people would show gratitude that your picked-on fatherland could finally breathe a little easier, but it turns out that Bulgaria is like the ne'er-do-well alcoholic brother-in-law who loses his job, his house and his marriage and winds up crashing on the couch at his sister's place.
What else explains the fact that you're getting a partial free ride on the backs of the U.S. taxpayers? My, how embarrassing that must be for you! Here's a dose of harsh reality:
https://www.businessinsider.com/nato-sh ... try-2017-2
Only five of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's 28 member countries last year met the alliance goal of spending at least 2% of their gross domestic product on defense.
And guess which country isn't one of them? Starts with a B, ends with an A ... and it ain't Botswana!
Here's a breakdown of each country's contribution, based on 2016 figures provided by NATO:
United States, 3.61%.
Greece, 2.38%.
Britain, 2.21%.
Estonia, 2.16%.
Poland, 2%.
France, 1.78%.
Turkey, 1.56%.
Norway, 1.54%.
Lithuania, 1.49%.
Romania, 1.48%.
Latvia, 1.45%.
Portugal, 1.38%.
Bulgaria, 1.35%.
So once again, some larger, more successful country is paying your freight. Hey, here's an idea: Since you Bulgarians are so irresponsible that you can't even meet your basic financial obligations, maybe all of us on Political Animal could pass the hat and give you some of the spare change out of our pockets!
