Aus Post parcel.....

Post by Gordon » Mon Aug 19, 2019 1:42 pm

Drivers are fuckety fucking fuck fucks.

I stayed home all morning waiting for an urgent delivery, I even left the front door open and he carded me which mean he didn't even make it past the mailbox. OK I know they probably only get 3 renminbi/indian rupee per parcel but...FUCK YOU!! :) :)

Unfortunately that has happened to me too many times to count. Either that or the package is damaged due to rough treatment and letters can take over a week to arrive from just a few kms away.

I don't know why anyone uses Australia Post. The service is deplorable and their contractors suck!

Never had a complaint against Australia Post. Must be a problem in the Eastern States. Here the staff is excellent. Perhaps you lot need to move out into the Real Australia to experience Real Life?

Mail takes two weeks to be delivered to me on the GC from northern NSW.
It seems that all mail goes to the Bundall Mail Centre before its sorted, and then
delivered to regional post offices, sorted again, and then delivered to street addresses.
Not sure how hard everyone works these days, but mail has always been notoriously
slow in NSW.

Mail isn't delivered on dusty roads by horseback in the eastern states anymore

Don't be too quick to blame AustPost! It is the bloody driver bloke.

I had a great young Indian bloke who delivered my parcels and he always rang my doorbell and even told me how to use the "leave at front door" to avoid having to sign for parcels that needed a signature. Even then, he rang the doorbell, left the parcel, and drove off. Nice kid.

Lately, the driver has obviously changed and instead of "leave at front door" he/she has left parcel at the front steps and the only reason I knew it was there because a friend called and picked it up!

I know of 2 people who had parcels "not delivered" and a card put in their mailbox, even though they were home, but .... wait for it ... not their local Post Office, some PO in a different suburb.

Somebody doesn't like his/her job and should be sacked by AustPost. Wonder whether there is a "complaint" area where you can complain about this and get the idiot removed? Some delivery guys are fine, others are just lazy bastards.

Yeah it's a driver by driver thing, but more often than not the Auspost drivers do that. There's a courier who does my street and seems to cover a few different companies is fantastic. He even once flashed his lights at me when I was just leaving home pulled me over so I could get my delivery.

Some are under "contract I think. There must be a way to contact AustPost and REPORT the person who is supposed to actually DELIVER stuff? Just give your area/street should do it and get the prick the sack!
