if you have money nef in the Bank it will gain NO INTEREST..... if your money is in the Share Market....the prices have plunged

Well, not exactly....
If you earn say $100K per annum and you use it all....rent/mortgage/living expenses...whatever....
To use that $100K it will cost you....if the negative interest rate is say -1%.....it will cost you $1000
It may start at -1%....and go to -2%....$1000 becomes $2000...…...

To transfer $100 into your daughters account for her birthday...it will cost you...when she goes to the
shop and buys a new pair of shoes with that $100 and uses her tap and go...it wil cost her...
When the proprietor of the shoe shop pays her supplier for the shoes...it will cost her...
When the proprietor pays her shop assistant her wages for selling your daughter those shoes...it will cost her.....
Almost like a GST on transactions isnt it...the only difference being the "fee" doesnt go to the ATO...
