Morrison needs a cashless society to enable negative interest rates to be implemented.

You have until the 12th August to voice your protest...for link see prior post...

Of course Westpac would predict a cashless society...and indeed, encourage it...who would then impose
negative interest rates on us......THE BANKS.......

No-one seems to be worried about negative interest rates.
There is a plethora of clips on You Tube about negative interest rates...
Im not going to waste my time downloading any of them simply to have everyone
totally ignore the subject...
There is so much apathy in this country...

Re: Morrison has to go
In the 2018-19 Budget, the Government announced it would introduce an economy-wide cash payment limit of $10,000 for payments made or accepted by businesses for goods and services. Transactions equal to, or in excess of this amount would need to be made using the electronic payment system or by cheque. The Black Economy Taskforce recommended this action to tackle tax evasion and other criminal activities.
The Government has today released for public consultation exposure draft legislation and accompanying explanatory material to implement the economy-wide cash payment limit from 1 January 2020 and for certain AUSTRAC reporting entities from 1 January 2021.
Submissions to the consultation are open until Monday 12 August 2019.
The Government values feedback and input from all affected stakeholders and responses to this consultation will inform the final Bill to implement the economy-wide cash payment limit.

Go to 6min 20sec point...he begins to explain from this point...
The Act, for amendment, needs to go to Parliament.....the regulations dont...
The amount of ten grand can be amended without going to parliament...its in the regulations...
The amount of ten grand, can at the drop of a hat, be reduced to say 5 or 2 grand...
Read the comments....if you dont want to watch the clip...just read the comments.....
The media should be all over this....its a bloody joke....instead the msm will shut up and assist
the government to get it through....

Read the comments....negative interest rates are on the way and they need a cashless society to do it....

Re: Morrison has to go
I remember him.
In the mid 2000s I was a delegate to Qld Greens state council and state conference.
Forget if it was a state council or conference meeting, but that John Adams, said to be an economist from the University of Cannotfuckenremember was invited to give spool stating that the Greens policies made the most economic sense.
As for the economy will or may tank because it's based on property speculation, Billy or whoever may be right, although feeding off the Chinese teat has made us vulnerable also. On several levels.
I've long had a problem with the Libs because they like high inflation rates, so that property speculators can make money out of doing nothing. The result is the cost of living has become absurd.
And I've long despised Labor because they always introduce new taxes and levies and/or ramp up the existing ones.
Plus they're always looking for ways to stick their noses and grubby fingers into our lives, believing they know better than we do what's best for ourselves.
To be honest I don't think it would bother me much if all these market manipulations failed and caused the economy to fall over, 'coz I own my property (I live in a forest), don't have electricity bills, and when the corporate sector chucks its office staff onto the scrap heap, shit kicking fruit pickers like me will still be needed, 'coz people gotta eat.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Re: Morrison has to go
Have to admit I'm not impressed with the 10k limit proposal.
That's something I'd expect from the commies in the ALP.
In the mid 90s I had (from memory) 55k in the bank.
I already had 1 Harley -"Rubber glide" .. rubber mounted running gear like a car - FXR Super glide.
I had the opportunity to buy a Harley XLCR "Café Racer" of which only 4300 were ever made and only 16 in Oz.
I went to the bank to withdraw 10k and they they had the hyde to ask me "What do you want it for?".
I got a bit stroppy 'coz AFAIC it's my money and if I want to piss it up against a wall or start a drug business it's my business.
My answer was "I intend to buy a motor bike today, there's only 16 of these bikes in the country and if I miss out I'll withdraw all my money".

Scott Morrison is the quiet Achiever.
Have you noticed how there are few 'hyped up' statements coming from parliament ?
There are no 'Look at moi, look at moi.... ' characters.
They are just heads down, working through tasks as they arise.
Us Quiet majority see this and appreciate it.
