The pro gun lobby will always come back with comments suggesting that if someone wants to massacre
people, they will do it anyway, whether its with an AK47 or a number of hand guns...etc...
And they will always quote the 2nd amendment.
They will always come back with the suggestion that cars should be banned, because they kill people too...
There is no answer...
America is too far gone to make any changes...
Waste of time talking about it....

Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...

if I had to make a choice I think I would rather face a terrorist ...... and no it doesnt matter to me what color or religion he believes in..

I would rather face one with a hand gun than an AK 47 any day...

as for the pro gun lobby I bet there are a few mental cases amongst that lot for sure..

maybe Americans should walk the streets with holsters on their hips ... Wyatt Earp eat your heart out!...

at least it wouldnt be in cold blood...

thank god I live in Australia.

Only the extremist version, Black Orchid. Oh, guess what? It is banned already. How is that working out?

I certainly agree that automatic weapons should not be freely available and kept only to the military. I can't see any need for them except in war/battle.

Oh, my goodness. You don't be popular in some circles with leftist views like that, Black Orchid!

Semi Autos in an assault configuration are just as deadly, American troops fired as many rounds in Vietnam as they did in WW2 and killed a lot less people,

Yes and it's where they both belong. In battle. I have no problem with hand guns and/or rifles.

And interesting claim. What are you basing it on, please?

As for killing more Germans than Vietnamese, well that could be for several reasons. The first is the different nature of the two wars. The Germans tended to bunch together and try and stop the US Army from taking over their country. The Vietnamese were much more diffuse - afterall they already owned the country the US Army was occupying, they wanted them to leave. When they bunched together such as during Tet'68, they tended to die just as readily as the Germans did...
