I dont think he should have targeted Mental Illness as a reason behind these shootings..

of course they have issues weird ideas whos right and whos wrong...

but Trump would need to explain why it is possible in that case for someone with mental Issues to be able to walk into a gun shop and walk out armed to the teeth...

Trump believes the freedom to bare arms for everyone is FINE....

I dont agree.

The Constitution was written in 1787. I can't see how Trump is to blame. How many have come before him in over 230 years?

The paranoia of the citizens of America vastly outweighs their desire to amend the 2nd Amendment

When you have a country with 300 million people and hundreds of cultures, all worried about being
invaded by an enemy that doesn't exist, coupled with a country split up into 50 states, all with different
gun laws, you have what you have...…..one big, disjointed, fragmented mess...…..full of hatred and racism and violence...

People from all over the world will continually shake their heads at American gun violence...
Nothing will ever change.....too late for change.....

Their culture and history is totally different to ours. If we had to fight for our independence and our north actually bordered Indonesia and they could swarm over the border in droves instead of coming in boats we might not have handed our guns over so readily.

I agree all the states should be more amalgamated with regard to gun laws though.

Of course their culture is different...and their constitution is outdated...created at a time where weaponry was
a flintlock single shot rifle or a pistol..the indigenous used bows and arrows and those at sea used cutlasses...
American culture could have been "updated" a long time ago...the availability of an AK47 to a guy walking
in off the street is just plain ludicrous....a hand gun perhaps but not weapons of this nature...
The right to bear arms may well be appropriate considering their history, but the definition of "arms" should have been brought
up to date a long long time ago....

Civilians carried the same weapons that soldiers carried when the Constitution was written.

NEW YORK POST DELIVERS BLUNT MESSAGE
As the US reeled in the aftermath of the twin shootings, the New York Post delivered Donald Trump a blunt message.

“President Trump, America is scared and we need bold action,” Monday’s front page reads. “It’s time to... BAN WEAPONS OF WAR.”

An editorial inside the tabloid calls for “the return of an assault-weapons ban”.

“It does not have to be this way. It should not have to be this way. Mr. President, do something - help America live without fear.

“Come up with answers. Now. Beginning with the return of an assault-weapons ban.

“God save us all, sir. People all across the nation are scared; many feel like the country is spinning out of control. They’re looking to their leaders for more than

two more have since died....

the OHIO killer had history even suspended from school for having a HIT LIST...and still he is able to own a gun and have 250 rounds of ammunition..
Former president Barack Obama released a statement which said no other country tolerated the level of gun violence that the US did - “no other nation comes close”

Somebody explain to the New York Post that Trump doesn't pass laws; Congress does. Including the part with Democrat Nancy Pelosi in charge.

Come on, Nance, show us what ya got!

Former president Barack Obama released a statement which said no other country tolerated the level of gun violence that the US did - “no other nation comes close”
.
And how many Islamic mass murders occurred on U.S. soil during Obama's presidency? Let's see -- Boston, Orlando, San Bernardino ... not to mention attacks that failed or merely wounded a bunch of people, such as Ohio State.

Through it all, Obama could never even bring himself to call it "Islamic terrorism." It was always "violent extremism" or some similar generic term that wouldn't upset the Allah worshipers he once went to school with.

So B.O. isn't exactly the world's foremost expert on how a leader keeps his citizens safe.
