El Paso mass murder
- another mass shooting:
https://heavy.com/news/2019/08/patrick-crusius/
The mass murderer.
Patrick Crusius was identified as the suspect in the shooting at Walmart near Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, Texas, by the Washington Examiner. Crusius, 21, is from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and is currently in police custody.
NBC News reports there were at least 19 people killed, including an infant, in the August 3 shooting with a further 40 injured. Texas Governor Greg Abbott said during a press conference there were 20 people dead.
The exact number of injuries and deceased victims has not been officially confirmed. Police have also not officially confirmed the suspect’s name, saying at a press conference only that he is a white male in his 20s.
Area hospitals reported there were a total of 24 injured people among the hospitals, including two children. Also among the injured were military service members from Fort Bliss, according to local news reports.
Police scanner traffic from the area suggested that Crusius was taken into custody about noon local time. The shooting began about 10 a.m., officials said. The FBI and ATF responded to the scene, alongside the El Paso Police Department and other state and local police departments.
A motive for the attack has not been officially confirmed by police, but CNN reports that an online posting that appears to have been made by the suspect is being investigated by the FBI.

He'll be executed. It's a shame it will take 15-20 years for the appeals process and waiting on death row in Huntsville to get his needle. Hopefully they'll find a few of his buddies who helped him prepare or encouraged this attack and we can execute them also. I think Governor Abbot will make sure that the state comes down hard on this guy and anybody who assisted him.
I've shopped at that Walmart and the Cielo Vista Mall. It's been a few years since I went regularly to El Paso for work. It's in the same state, but it's 1000 km away. I'm amazed that he wasn't confronted by a civilian with a gun. They probably did the right thing by running away and only using their gun if they have to, but it would have been nice to see this loser dropped in the act. It would have saved the state a lot of money on a trial and maybe saved a few lives.

I won't argue with that, but it won't happen unless gangs get hold of him in prison.Bobby wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 2:12 pmTexan wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 12:49 pmHe'll be executed. Never going to happen, Bobby. Remember, he was just exercising his Constitutional Right to own and keep bears armed. He just thought he was meant to express his hatred for the "mixing of the races" with his gun. Many Americans are crazy, unfortunately. Great place to visit, terrible place to live.

It only takes 1 person in a million and that's
enough for a mass shooting nearly
every day of the year in the USA.

His rights end where the rights of others begin. He will be convicted and executed and it doesn’t bother me a bit.brian ross wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 2:31 pmNever going to happen, Bobby.
