My little wife is as tough as nails.
Rarely does she ever get ill, but when she does, she does it well.

Last time, she nearly died of pneumonia, being a martyr rather than taking it easy and backing off.

That was a few years ago, this time she has the flu.
This is quite unusual for her, I think this is only the third time in 30 years.
Today I finally got her to the doctors.
She has the beginnings of pneumonia again.
She has been told to take it easy.
How do you make a woman like her, take it easy?

I love her dearly, with all my heart.
But shite she frustrates me.

Hopefully she gets better over the next few days.
If I seem a little short, it's because I'm worried.

Cheers

good she has you taking care of her... I too had something a few weeks back it sucked all my energy and strength from me I was sick and gastric couldnt keep my eyes open for the first 4 days couldnt eat all I did was drink water...I am still not back to full strength

I too almost never get sick but when I do its the works...
It's going around.
Everyone at work is sick at the moment
Some just coming down
Some just getting over it
Some in the middle.
I've locked the door of my office to keep EM out.
If they want me, they can get me on the phone.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

I have an apple and a banana every day - keeps the doctor away.

Paracetamol for the aches and pains for your Mrs and stay in bed for a few days.

Ever notice the more flu vaccinations we have the more the Flu is going around? :huh?

The Media is pushing it like crazy every year now - Big Pharma is making a fortune thats for sure
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Sorry to hear that Valkie and I hope she gets better soon.

I had my son in the hospital all last week and was worried sick. Still am as he is displaying more symptoms.
Do they have any idea what it is or is it a "virus"?
Doctor speak for, I have no idea.

Hope he gets well soon, people don't realise how much stress the carers are under when their family is ill.
Not a virus. They found 2 small clots in his right lung and now he is getting pain on the left side. He's on blood thinners which are also bad. *sigh

Raven knows what you are going through. And yes it is hard. She will frustrate you but your job is to cater to her whims, but be prepared to be tough with her when you need to.

It is Raven's hope she has a speedy recovery.

There's no point as it's already mutated.

Even when mutated the flu jab can still provide more protection than doing nothing.
That's because some of the proteins on the virus will still be the same.

The only time I have been sick in decades was when I had a flu shot, so not really keen to back that up.

Not great, but the fact that they have some idea if treatment is at least a positive.
It's when they just "wait and see" that you have a real problem.
Hope he gets well.
And, you look after yourself as well.
Sometimes people forget about themselves and get run down, this isn't good for either of you.
Thinking of you.
