I am sure she will be diagnosed with depression and probably was abused as a child...

For me it has always been about corruption by the police (extending up to what level is the next question) of a willing and equally corruptable lawyer.
The community will now suffer the consequences generally and it is to be hoped that every person inside the police force and government who knew about this also suffers due consequences.

my opinion if she had nothing to sell ]information] there would be no buyers..
who approached who first.....
its a bit like the priest being expected to tell tales outside the confession box....
I would suspect legals would know far far more than any Priest when it comes to the finer details of crime.
why are they not expected to spill the beans...

I am not sure who you are referring to, a priest or a lawyer. Maybe it does not matter as both are required to maintain confidentiality I think.

most legals get a slap on the wrist....or they are allowed to exit the society to save the Law society any embarrassment...

I like the fact Legals and the Police are allowed to Investigate themselves...
