Just another NBN related Scam using an automated call from "Nicole" telling me my internet will be cut off in 24 hours unless I press 1 to talk to the technician.

I used to get Chinese message scams and also one where they say to hand myself in because I have committed a felony

No I dont think so they are generated on the internet from Overseas and the Calling Number is meaningless and varies .

It is a bit like Skype where one can put any number they wish as the calling number!

I also get calls from "Nicole" about the NBN. Maybe she is only calling people in Canberra?

Usually, unless I recognise the number, I let calls go through to the answering machine and most hang up once that kicks in ... I then check one of these sites (below) and add that number as a scam.
