Jeez, we really need a WW3, or an apocalypse to put priorities into perspective. People are becoming too cowardly and weak, it's laughable.
And this is the fool who wants to run our forum.

Banning private schools? Where do I sign up? If you send your children to these hothouse indoctrination centres, you must expect some reaction from sensible people. I am all for stopping public funding for them. Let the parents pay their own education costs. All the schools do is put their public funding into building works, not actual education of the children.
Banning free speech? Really? Don't you mean free insults?
Drug legalisation is well and truly on it's way. Many illegal drugs are being used for medical treatments. Marijuana has been used to treat Anorexia Nervosa for many years. It induces hunger and appetite. It is also now being used to treat Epilepsy successfully. Time you reactionaries caught up with what the rest of society is doing.
HOW ABOUT PUBLIC
UNIVERSITIES bri bri..
a hot bed of lefty indoctrination and a hot bed of communistic power plays,.....
In your imagination, Cods. In the 25 years I studied and worked at various Universities, I never actually saw any one being indoctrinated with anything. Have you ever attended an Australian University, ever?
and its pretty much worldwide not restricted to Aussie Private schools
you live in a different world to me.....I dont even know why I read that.bizarre post..
Sounds like a personal problem, Cods. I often wonder why you bother posting at all, you're so disconnected from the reality of Australian society...

You feel that Private Schools are bad ... even the Catholic ones in your local suburb .... where people claim on Tax?

Huh?

Like ALL things, University life has changed Brian. You need to stop living in the past and embrace the present. You sound like someone's great grandfather.

Private schools are not indoctrination centres
That label would most definitely go to the public schools nowadays with all the gender fluidity idiocy they are teaching the kids. Kids who can't even spell what's more.
Without private schools we would have a whole generations of illiterates who know nothing beyond strapping their breasts and/or penis.
When was the last time you went near a real public school, Black Orchid? Today, schools try very hard to fulfil the role that parents are meant to. Effectively, parents drop their kids off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon and don't care that they are letting the schools teach their kids to be human beings.

Universities have changed. I was at one only last month with my youngest son. They are a great deal more commercial now. Students are "customers", not students. However, at their core their purpose is to teach kids how to think about the problems they face in real life. They don't "indoctrinate" people. They demonstrate to them how the tools they are taught allow them to face the world.
So, when was the last time you were at a University, Black Orchid? What course(s) did you study, when, Mmmm?

Both my kids went to public schools so it hasn't been long. Schools are NOT supposed to fulfil the role of the parents. That is called lazy left wing parenting and why kids are in so much trouble today.
I studied Applied Science at University you eye rolling twat. You focus so much on where I live with your class warfare, chip on shoulder type of feigned put downs the 'whens' and 'whats' and anything else you want to find out you can sing for.
