I think our system is easier and less irritating.

I think we have one of the best systems in the World - this is why we should not go for a Republic.

The commonwealth suits us fine - no one meddles in our political system or tells us what to do. I'd keep it that way.

Donald Trump has denied another allegation of sexual misconduct, saying he couldn’t have assaulted prominent magazine columnist E. Jean Carroll because “she’s not my type”.

The US President’s jaw-dropping denial comes as an explosive new book was released that claims his closest aides were worried about damaging allegations.

Even in Australia, the media say nothing good about him...we are told all the negative shit...
No-one advises us of the positive things he has done...I read a list one day...its as long as your arm...

Personally...I dont know enough to criticize or condemn him...

All the rape allegations are probably bullshit...
I have a suspicion that he wont seek a second term...he's on a hiding to nothing with Iran..
and they may still impeach him...might be a good way to ride off into the sunset.....

Yeah, it's just like the fanciful accusations against Judge Kavanaugh when he was nominated for the Supreme Court.

No witnesses, no evidence, no corroboration of any kind.

But some lady comes out of the woodwork, talks in a baby doll voice and claims Kavanaugh did something bad to her 36 years ago, and the American lefties insist that she deserves to be believed.

I agree that sexual assault is a serious matter. But so is destroying someone's reputation ... and the concept of "innocent until proven guilty."
