And I would never go and live in Europe. To each his own.

At least provide a logical reason, or you might say "I can't adapt to different locations and I'm a stay-at-home individual." Or otherwise, it just looks like regular ineffectual hate and envy.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 6:15 pmAnd I would never go and live in Europe. To each his own.

I'm sorry but the hate and envy isn't coming from me. Have you ever been to the US or Australia?FLEKTARN wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 6:17 pmAt least provide a logical reason, or you might say "I can't adapt to different locations and I'm a stay-at-home individual." I have been to enough parts of western Europe to consider it way over the top expensive. The people can tend to be arrogant and there are too many immigrants which dilute the culture. No, I haven't been to eastern Europe but I have friends who have worked there in and out for years and say it is dangerous. I have an old friend who lives in Bulgaria and she loves it. Why the hell would I want to live in Russia?
I have spent a LOT of time in Canada and the US and find it cheap for food and housing and I find the people incredibly friendly, especially towards Aussies, so that is appealing to me but one of the main considerations for me would be that I don't want to have to learn another language to get by. Too many people come here and don't learn the language and I criticise that and certainly don't want to be like that. Nothing at all to do with me not wanting to adapt or wanting to stay home.
It's just a matter of taste. Visiting is one thing. Living there is another.

I haven't been to the U.S. or Australia but I had very close friends who studied in North Carolina, and Melbourne.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 6:41 pmI'm sorry but the hate and envy isn't coming from me. Second, if you want we can compare prices between Hungary or Czechia and your country and see which is the more expensive. You're talking smack again.
I also didn't even mention Bulgaria. You're putting words into my mouth. Russia is doing 500 times better than Bulgaria. Salaries and opportunities there are insane. And while you mentioned Bulgaria, no, it's not dangerous. This is just fake and very gay propaganda.
You can't get shot or blown to pieces here! There are no mass shootings. And there was one in Australia last week, and there is one per every week in the U.S. So you're talking smack again.
You haven't been to the places I mentioned. I can see that by your noobish statement. You've probably visited France or Amsterdam or whatever and you think Europe is France. Open Google Maps and see how many European countries there are. Romania is doing well too, and Slovakia, and Latvia, and Lithuania, and Estonia, etc.
And for the last 5 years, I haven't seen a single Muslim or African here. Refugees usually settle in England, France, Spain, North Germany and Scandinavia.
And the language is not the problem. Most of the people speak English here. Especially the younger people.
I have no problem with you or anyone else who prefers to stay in Australia or whatever. But I'm expecting people to be objective and not speak crap! For the same reason you'll never see me telling anyone that Bulgaria is better than Monaco or Andorra! Because it's not.

I didn't say anything negative about Bulgaria. I said I have an old friend who moved there and loved it.
Sheesh! Can't we just have differing opinions on where we want to live and leave it at that? I would rather live in Canada or the US. I have family/friends there and I don't have to learn another language.
I also said there were too many immigrants in western Europe which is the opposite side to you. I really can't see anything to argue about.
Everyone I knew/know in London, for instance, have long fled into the countryside.

England is a story we all know. By the way, German is a Germanic language so it should be very easy for you to learn? Austrians speak German. They also speak a bit Hungarian and English.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 10:17 pmI didn't say anything negative about Bulgaria. I said I have an old friend who moved there and loved it.

Germany is very bad right now. That's why I mentioned Austria, not Germany. These are two different countries, if you didn't know.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 10:22 pmI can speak a little German. A very little. I don't want to live in Germany though!
