It has nothing to do with the North Shore, Brian, except that the whole of Sydney is on water restrictions for the first time in over 10 years.
There's that chip again!
Brian sees everything in terms of the Marxist doctrine of class warfare.
If we are in serious growing debt it's all because the rich haven't paid their taxes -
not because we allowed millions of the world's trailer trash to immigrate here -
people who have no education and bludge off the system -
taking away valuable resources from Australians who need it.
Agree. He has this obsession about where I live but offers no logical solution other than "The rich the rich the rich. It's all their fault" and all the while denigrating middle class Australians.
And your solution appears to be ignore the huge disparity that exists between what the rich and their corporations pay in tax and how the working class are taxed, Black Orchid. To you, tax relief is only available, it seems to the big end of town, never to the little end. Funny that, hey?
We need to HALT immigration of unskilled bludgers who are straining not only the system but our resources as well.
And what proportion of the immigrant intake do you assume are "unskilled bludgers", Black Orchid? 1%, 10% 25%, 60%, 99%?

Please remember, the immigration intake is made up of normal immigrants, Asylum Seekers, Refugees and short-term visa holders. Which group should be lock the gate against?

Brian,
No one knows for sure - the figures are not published as the Govt. hides it all.
I think it's a hell of a lot of them.
Some can't speak English -
they are illiterate and come from war torn countries like Sudan & Somalia
where the only skill they have ever learnt is how to
dissemble. clean and reassemble an AK47 while blind folded.
Do you want those people here?
If we bring them here then who is responsible for their armed home invasions?
Would you like to put your hand up?

What is 'funny' is that you and your progressive mob are the ones trying to block tax relief to middle and low income earners! Funny that, hey?

Bri Bri has also been schooled many times on who bears the burden of the majority of tax paid but like a good little marxist shitbag, he repeats his lies over and over, hoping his dedication will overshadow his idiocy. Fucking parasite.

Brian,

Does it. Bobby. Seems to be in plain sight if you want to look for it. Did you even attempt to look for it?
I think it's a hell of a lot of them.
So, out of the 162,417 migrants which arrived last year, how many of them were without skills, Bobby?
Some can't speak English -
they are illiterate and come from war torn countries like Sudan & Somalia
where the only skill they have ever learnt is how to

The minority who cannot speak English learn it very quickly, Bobby upon entry to the country.

Being able to disassemble and reassemble a piece of machinery while blindfolded is not something you should be so dismissive of, Bobby. I learnt to do that with several weapons in the Army - SMG, M16, L1a1, M60 GPMG, F88 Steyr, FN-MAG58, FN-Minimi. It has stood be in good stead occasionally when things have gone pearshaped - it promoted memory and knowledge of where things were.

As to who is responsible for an "armed home invasion," I would have said it was the invaders, afterall they are the ones committing the crime.

There are of course reasons for that which I don't doubt you're well aware of, Black Orchid, even if you refuse to accept them. How did you feel about the Tories blocking the introduction of a CO^2 Tax - the only fair method of working out how to reduce CO^2 emissions. What a shame the Tories refuse to even accept the scientific evidence that Global Warming is occurring.
