Okay this is bizarre. Why is a convicted and jailed child killer released from prison on numerous occasions unattended?

Firstly paedophiles cannot be rehabilitated and surely the authorities should show a duty of care when releasing these people into society unattended. Rehabilitation?

The court heard he has previously been jailed for sex offences against numerous other young victims — both boys and girls — from two to 16-years-old.

"He has no remorse and lacks insight," Mr Kell told the court.

"He remains a serious danger to the community."

Mr Kell described Guider as someone who "grooms" the parents of pre-pubescent children.

He said Guider preys on vulnerable single mothers to get access to their children.

The court heard although Guider has shown no remorse, he has been temporarily let out of jail up to 20 times unsupervised as part of his rehabilitation.

Arguing for his release, Guiders' lawyer Mathew Johnstone said his clients' methodology was known and he can be suitably managed in the community.

So let's cut costs to the bone
No electricity for inmates, light in daytime, dark in night.
No heating or air conditioning, give them donated blankets and sleep on the floor of their cells.
No tv, games or computers of any sort.
2 simple meals a day, left over food from retirement homes and hospitals will suffice.
You could also collect out of date food from shopping centres.
Clothe them is the cheapest clothing available with only three changes.
Make them wash their own clothes in cold water.
Break a rule, be rude, disobey an order and you get whipped, number dependent on severity of transgression.
If you get sick, tough it out, no medicine, no treatment, no surgery.

And
After you get let out, you get a bill for your accommodation while away
To be taken from your wages, estate or dole as applicable, with interest.

Second offence is instantly double your sentence
Third offence triple
Fourth offence you are in for life.

No more free ride
No more holiday
Punishment.
