......... Around 1,000 of them are foreigners, from 50 different countries, including "quite a number" of Australians, according to the DAA.

But Australia has taken steps to make it more difficult for IS members and their families to return.

In November the Government proposed "temporary exclusion orders", which would allow them to deny an Australian citizen suspected of terrorism offences the right to return home for two years.

Under the legislation, the Home Affairs Minister would be able to issue a permit for a foreign country to deport a terror suspect only under certain conditions. .........

It sounds to me like these people are being neglected because people are afraid of them. Doctors Without Borders has some amazing people doing incredible work, but these people will continue to be neglected because of their death cult. The women are even intimidating each other if they try to leave the cult and shun the religiously mandated ghillie suits. I wouldn't risk my life to help someone who refuses my help. If they want to support terrorists, they are terrorists and get what they deserve.

I can see your point but I find it unChristian and we are no better than the terrorists who caused this whole mess..

why not educate these people into being good citizens of their chosen country...

they chose to fight for Syria...then fight to rebuild it.. stop killing each other....

You have a point, but what do you do? Take the kids away from terrorist loving parents? The first step is to curb immigration so that less of the problem becomes YOUR problem. Then you can help as your conscience dictates and your wallet can afford.

Bri Bri has indicated that he will take them in and put them up at his house indefinitely where they will be care for and doted on.
He will no doubt be prepared to go guarantor and accept any punishment as proxy should they turn out to not be the model citizens he might claim them to be and they decide his generous opportunity at a second chance isn't quite as good as eternal salvation an 72 virgins.

He didn't mention if he was prepared to foot the bill and pay all associated costs, but no doubt he would have no problem with that. Given his multiple academic achievements, he would be gainfully employed in the upper echelons of his profession.

Of course, if he backpedal and refuses to live up to his own expectations or raises any questions other than "how soon will my brothers and sisters arrive?" then he is a bigot, racist and a xenaphobe.
