Pundits have been saying for three years that there will be a shooting war with China.

Iraq is at the moment planning to legislate the removal of US troops..
Iran continues to stockpile nuclear weaponry..
North Korea continues to supply Iran with nuclear technology...
Brexit still a mess..
European elections next week..

What is happening to our GDP and unemployment rate.
Morrison has to increase one, whilst reducing the other.
Has our government got the capabilities to do so.
I feel that our unemployment rate is going to go up and our GDP is going to go down.
The governments responsibility will be to reverse these trends.
I dont think it has the capabilities to do so.
Shortens plan was to increase wages.
This was going to increase unemployment, as employers would not have been able to afford to pay higher wages.
He was going to reintroduce penalty rates..another negative..
The Aussie dollar is heading down.
It is widely anticipated that the RBA will reduce interest rates next month..
The pundits said that last month..
They wont..
Plus we have the bail in legislation which steals our savings if a bank fails.
There is no government guarantee protecting our savings....
If they reduce rates, the arse will drop out of the Aussie dollar and petrol will be two bucks a litre..
Morrison has in fact been handed a poisoned chalice..
All we have really done in this election is chosen the lesser of two evils...
The cost of winning will be to preside over an economy which will continue to slide..

Both parties need some new faces. I am glad the Libs are rid of Julie Bishop, Christopher Pyne, Kelly O'Dwyer, Julia Banks etc. Good riddance and I bet they are all seething now after last night's shock win.

Labour need new faces too. Albanese, Plibersek, Chris Bowen etc are still tainted by Rudd/Gillard. They need new faces and new attitudes and not just the same stale old ones.

Watching Labor volunteers actually crying on the tv is concerning. Who the hell cries over an election?

I didn't like Plibersek's and Wong's sour grapes either.

Isnt she married to someone who was convicted in 1986 of heroin importation and distribution and sentenced to 9 years hard labour.

You know, on election day me and my friend went together to vote. She is 38 and has never voted before in her life. She always avoided detection with not being enrolled, but that all changed when MyGov came into the picture.

Anyway, when she asked the lady giving out the ballot papers she asked, "What if I don't want to vote? None of the candidates interest me."

I told her she could just put in a donkey vote. So long as her name got ticked off, it's all that matters. The lady in front of us looked at us like pieces of shit, and tried to convince her to vote. The idea of her not voting was too outrageous!

Later on we got some lunch at a relatively quiet cafe, where a random elderly lady decided to interrogate us about voting. Specifically my friend, who made the mistake of informing her that she thought the whole thing was a farce.

Moral of the story is, I'm baffled that people still believe in their shit. I mean yeah, we all have opinions, some we're passionate about, on political issues. But the actual politicians themselves? They have demonstrated to me that they are nothing but incapable morons.

The issue is, a majority of people still believe in this shit. When that changes, maybe something positive will happen. Being the cynic I am, it's looking pretty doubtful no matter who holds the power.

Well, somebody has to run the Country, better it is the Coalition rather than GALP. I do agree though that politicians are not worth the money they get. I see that Tony Abbott will now get $100,000 MORE a year (for the rest of his life) now that he is no longer a politician but a former PM.

As far as voting is concerned, I totally disagree with compulsory voting and also the preferential system. This time I voted Liberal because I definitely did NOT want to see Bull Shitten as our Prime Minister ... how embarrassing would that be?

In 2016 I just went along and got my name marked off the Roll ... took the ballot papers, wrote a couple of rude words on them (couldn't stand Turnbull) and put them in the box ... you do NOT have to actually "vote" for anyone (tick any boxes) it is called INFORMAL and not counted.

Oh, and I think Morrison has worked something out regarding the $1,000 tax refund on this current year's tax returns ... so you will get your bucks.

We will see how Morrison goes, now that he really is a voted in PM. I imagine that he will do what he said he would do, come Hell or High Water. God would not be pleased if he told porkies.

Oh, and I see that the "asylum seekers" still on Manus and Nauru are threatening to commit suicide, now that the Coalition has been returned. They could, of course, decide to go back to wherever it was they came from but thought that GALP would welcome them with open arms. Tuff luck you losers.
