Do women make good politicians.

Post by billy the kid » Thu May 16, 2019 12:52 pm

I find it amusing that everyone these days is getting on the bandwagon, demanding that more women
be given portfolios to balance out the men and the women in politics.
No one seems to give a toss as to whether the person given a portfolio has any talent...just give more
women portfolios...
Any woman can run a chook raffle, or maybe get elected mayor somewhere in a bush town with a population
of maybe a couple of hundred, but when it comes to running a state, or holding a portfolio, I think they
pretty much fail miserably......
Short answer.........no......

No...

Haven’t seen a good one yet...

Pauline Hanson i like mind you..

Did you see Pauline Hanson give Channel Nine smart mounted presenters a touch up this morning ?

It was brilliant - they keep trying to knock her down so she says - “your rating are going lower and lower, maybe you should hand in your resignation and bring Karl back” 😂

Women make excellent politicians. We've had the example of Maggie Thatcher, Julie Bishop. How about Sarah Palin? How about Nancy Pelosi? How about Condoleezza Rice? How about Aung San Suu Kyi, Indira Gandhi, Yulia Tymoshenko, Eva Perón, Sonia Gandhi, Benazir Bhutto, Golda Meir, Nikki Haley, Madeleine Albright, Phoolan Devi, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Christine Lagarde, Wangari Maathai, Maneka Gandhi, Anna Lindh, Toiréasa Ferris, Park Geun-hye, Linda Brava, Mary McAleese, Michelle Bachelet, Tarja Halonen, Bahriye Üçok, Agathe Uwilingiyimana, Ruth First?

People need to look beyond their ideology and their misogyny.

Most women are pretty smart and, as such, steer clear of politics which is a dog eat dog, line your own pockets to the detriment of the masses world. They tend to shine in the corporate world instead.

Most of the women we see in politics now are there because of the minority 'quota' system adopted by the progressive plebs which draws in the dregs and it's the dregs I see in the current political females. Women pushing minority agendas. Just look at Wong, Hanson Young etc on our side and Pelosi and Hillary across the seas.

Pauline is the exception and seems to genuinely care about ordinary Australians and what they really want which is why she is constantly harassed, maligned and stomped on by both majors.
