We really do NEED proper Left and Right Parties, not this mix-match "centrist" or something crap. Instead of following The Party, these days people either like or dislike the potential Prime Minister, so they vote "independent" and that is really, really STUPID, especially with our ridiculous PREFERENTIAL thing.

Australia wont vote for an American presidential type GG replacement head of state.
The GG replacement will only have similar powers to the current one, however he is appointed ,
most likely by voting for him or a committee that selects him
.... He wont be selected by parliament i am sure
