I'm trying to decide if I should be offended over this comment. My granddaughter is 1/4 black, but it doesn't matter whether or not I'm offended. I believe in freedom of speech and your speech would only bring shame to yourself.

I agree 100%...litigants I have noticed over the years get too involved with "the principal" of the issue, and
forget the legal costs as the "case" drags on..
People are encourage and praised for standing up for their beliefs, but when it comes to dollars and cents
they have to do the maths...which most litigants dont do.....
I still think he's hanging out for a date with Raelene Castle as a sweetener....

BTW, I'm not offended. It's human nature to wonder these things. I wondered what my granddaughter would look look like. Would she have the facial features of a black person? Will she have curly hair? What color will her eyes be? In the end, I decided that it didn't matter because I love her no matter what. Her mom has straight dark brown hair and hazel eyes. Her dad has hazel eyes and so far, her eyes look like a grayish blue. I have blue eyes, so that's what I'm hoping for. Anyway, enough about my beautiful granddaughter.

People need to get over being butt hurt over speech. If their private information wasn't broadcast or they weren't physically harmed by speech(yelling fire in a crowded theater), then they can get over it,.

The lawyers are ok with going to court too. A few comments at the right time and their bill rises dramatically.

When I got divorced I accepted less what I was theoretically entitled too.
It meant no court battle, lower lawyers bills, we both maintain the dignity of being the 'captains of our own ships', hence an amicable split.
In the end, the kids get all the benefits anyway. More money, an amicable split among their parents.
