It's a shame what people do to themselves in the name of vanity. Kenny Rogers being one. Look at Mickey Rourke, Cher and Meg Ryan. Meg was so fresh and pretty looking and now she just looks disfigured.

I am all for light work, if you feel the need, and many seem to get that right but I will never understand why others go that step too far. What do they see when they look in the mirror?

I've also noticed that he has the wide-eyed look of a guy who underwent too much of a facelift.

Actually, I liked Joan Rivers, especially toward the end of her life (which was cut short by a botched surgical procedure). She was unabashedly non-PC.

As for Kenny Rogers, you see what I mean. If I were his best friend, I'd have told him, "Kenny, what are you thinking? You don't need plastic surgery -- you're a country and Western singer. It's OK to have a weathered cowboy look ... it only adds credibility to your persona."

I mean, look at Willie Nelson. Would anybody suggest that he dye his hair, shave his beard and try to look 25 again?
