GetUp is actually a lot less worse than the people mentioned in that article, Cods. They have never been charged by the police for any crime. Their taste could be better but at least they get their message across without being intimidating and without any violence. What exactly is your problem with GetUp, Cods? I had a Go Fund Me letter today regarding that young man who was accused of raping his ex wife..a copper ..

they had a program [60min]not long ago on the case where he was wrongly jailed..his parents lost their home fighting this dreadful women..

but the police believed her.....UNTIL....

anyway the letter tells us they are still fighting only now its the ACT Govt..and they lie all the time..

the Att Gen tells the world they are doing everything they can and advise the family of progress and such the family say they have not had one word from the ACT Govt..

The ACT Attorney General has been sending a form letter to anyone that contacts his office to say that he and his department continue to liaise with the Jones family to seek a resolution. This is a balatant lie and we have heard nothing further from him unless we contact his office to push him to provide answers. Answers that are still not forthcoming!
The complaint that has been lodged to the ACT Judicial Council about the unprofessional , biased and far from impartial behaviour of a number of Magistrates has been stalled since it was lodged back in February. Apparantly the ACT Registrar has been unable to to access audio recordings and written transcripts from their own court system to progress the complaint. This speaks volumes about the competence and professionalism of the ACT Judicial system and the administration of the Magistrates Court in general here in the ACT.

So, asking questions about GetUp and your attitude towards their message is "turning a blind eye"?

As for al Jazeera, what they did was not illegal, Cods. Time you woke up to that. In reality, what they did was a service to the Australian Electorate as it exposed the PHONies for what idiots they are. Their support has plummeted as a consequence.
