No assumptions at all Brian. GetUp have been boasting for weeks about where they are throwing the money and who they are targeting.

Re: 2019 Federal Election
Did they say they were going to deface signs, Black Orchid? No, they didn't. So why do you assume that it was GetUp's fault that the signs were defaced? Personally, I suspect the defacement was undertaken by a drunk 18 year old kid who was pissed of by Tone and his antics. Tone, BTW, has engaged in similar antics in the past. He isn't above them as you appear to be suggesting.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2019 1:37 pmNo assumptions at all Brian. In the House of Representatives you have to number EVERY box.
In my Electorate we have 5 candidates for the HoR and a dozen or so donkeys for the Senate. Where is that yawn emoticon?

https://www.theaustralian.com.au/commen ... 1XLsF9ZULINot overly bright and wears his burgers on his chest.
Bill Shorten really has no idea when it comes to the big picture.
Given half a chance he will sink this country with union mandated socialist agendas.
The Prime Minister jokes that he knows more about Labor’s climate change policy and its cost than Labor. He could well be right given Bill Shorten’s recent wonky analogy: Labor’s policy is like fat people eating fewer Big Macs.
How this explains Labor’s decision to seek to reduce emissions by 45 per cent by 2030 is anyone’s guess. Do only fat people bear the costs? And what do the Big Macs stand for — coal-fired power plants?
We have more evidence of the large economy-wide costs of Labor’s 45 per cent proposed emissions cut from the updated modelling conducted by Brian Fisher, former head of the Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-05-03/ ... s/11076194Labor's candidate for the seat of Melbourne, Luke Creasey, has withdrawn after social media posts came to light that showed him engaging in inappropriate jokes about rape, lesbians and Catholics.
Mr Creasey, 29, had been forced to apologise earlier this week after it was revealed he had made a rape joke on social media.
Further questionable posts have since been uncovered by the Herald Sun, including jokes Mr Creasey made about lesbians and Catholics.
In a statement released by the Labor Party this afternoon, Mr Creasey said the comments did not reflect his views today but that his actions were "an important lesson for young people that your social media footprint will follow you".
They are dropping like flies on all sides. Don't you just love the way they say 'their comments do not reflect their views'?

Sounds, well, somehow familar, hey, Black Orchid. You seem to be saying that when you say something bad, which is say, Homophobic or Islamophobic, it doesn't reflect how you really feel about Gays or Muslims, right?Black Orchid wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2019 2:05 pmhttps://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-05-03/ ... s/11076194Labor's candidate for the seat of Melbourne, Luke Creasey, has withdrawn after social media posts came to light that showed him engaging in inappropriate jokes about rape, lesbians and Catholics.

Disagreeing with men dressing up as women to compete with women in sport does not make me homophobic, Brian. Nor does criticising worldwide islamic attacks make me an islamophobe.
