Master Chef

Post by cods » Thu May 02, 2019 9:56 am

so far so good....I seem to like everyone..lol..

what I did notice last night was when they finish cooking....their dishes disappear...

they are not longer in front of them until their name is called...

the kitchen is spanking cleaned up... mine never looks like that...even after making a sandwich..

anyway they sure look like they can all cook...

I think it would look pretty bad on tv with 24 revoltingly messy kitchen workstations.

Yes I am watching Masterchef and I already remember 2 names. Tim and Derek! Yoohoo I am on a roll.

I like Tim so I am glad he won. I didn't watch it though and will probably watch the repeat tomorrow.

I watched all 4 episodes on TenPlay or whatever it is. Fast forwarded through a lot of it ... too much clapping, cheering and talking. The format is totally different to the British model where they introduce 5 new entrants each heat (30 contestants in all) .... not the full lot of contestants at once .... and then eliminate them 1 or 2 at a time until they end up with 12 quarter-finalists, then eliminate down to 10, 8, 6,5, 4 until the get to the final 3 to cook off for the winner. Also the Aussie version (like the USA one) the winner gets $250,000. The British version doesn't get any "prize money", just the Masterchef trophy and "recognition".

Anyway, now that I know how to watch the Aussie version, will do so to see how it ends up ... out of curiosity and probably boredom. :rofl

I watched the English one in Copenhagen..

it was awful two judges following a few contestants around in their faces...

then you forgot about them and went on to a few new ones still with the same judges nattering constantly..

it drove me mad..... so few English speaking shows over there..so had not much choice..

even the judges that come over here prefer our one nef..
