The Australian Army goes where it is sent, Cods. It is sent places to further the political aims of the Australian Government. In the period I was enlisted - 1977-1988, the Australian Army had limited overseas commitments. The Australian government had abandoned the "forward defence" strategy in favour of the "continental school" of strategic thought, as exemplified by the 1986 Dr. Paul Dibb's Report into Australia's defence. From that report, the Australian Army largely moved from it's bases in SE Australia to the Top End - the most likely place any invader would land in Australia. However, that took nearly a decade to occur. I was never deployed overseas. I came in after, well after, the Vietnam War had ended in 1972 and resigned before UNTAC in Cambodia in 1991 and Operation Solace the deployment of Australian troops to Somalia in 1992.

His quotes, his approach, his syntax and the wording he uses screams immature.

He obviously has no understanding of most subjects he quotes and the quotes are straight from Dr Google.

To me he comes across as an immature young bloke, pissed off with life for whatever reason and seeks acceptance through opposition to all the norms and common sense.

Just like an EMO dresses to create a stir and gain cred through not conforming, bwyannnnnnn does the same through his continual insults.

And you have to admit, many of his comebacks are far from that expected by a man of any real age.
Every soldier requires to be trained in warfare, regardless of his role
Part of that is common sense and following orders
All of the real soldiers I know talk, and communicate vastly differently from bwyannnnn.
