Re: 2019 Federal Election
Today, I saw my first Clive election poster. Whereas all other political parties put their posters high up on the power poles, to prevent them being defaced or stolen, Clive had his placed at the bottom of the pole. Perhaps his peons couldn't afford a Ute or a Truck to put the posters up from their trays?

That is really bad planning.
Who proposed it, who planned it, who agreed to it ?

Morrison is doing a preference deal with Palmer. I would rather see him doing one with Pauline.
Why are these idiots so terrified of Pauline? Bury her at all costs seems to be both sides motto.

https://www.theguardian.com/australia-n ... ive-palmerFederal election 2019: Liberal party strikes deal to exchange preferences with Clive Palmer.
United Australia party leader has previously likened Scott Morrison to Heinrich Himmler.
The Liberal party has agreed to exchange preferences with Clive Palmer in a deal nutted out by party figures on Wednesday night.
Sources say how-to-vote cards that see the Liberals preferencing the United Australia party are ready to print, with Palmer to be placed ahead of the Labor party in lower-house seats and in the Senate.
The deal could prove critical to the outcome in a host of marginal seats across the country, and improves the chances of Palmer reclaiming a spot in the Senate where his resurrected party could hold the balance of power.

Couldn't agree more! With Scott Morrison’s announcement that he’d prefer to do a preference deal with the Greens and Labor ahead of One Nation, the voters are not happy.
You just have to read the feedback on social media and get out and speak to people.
Voters hate the idea they have to number every box and flow their preferences to parties they don’t like.
If the Prime Minister doesn’t want to preference One Nation ahead of the Greens and Labor, he should change the voting from compulsory to optional preference voting. That way people have a choice on how many boxes they fill in.
A true leader listens to the people.

Pauline hasn't got a candidate in all 151 or whatever, electorates, Clive has. IF she had candidates in the 3 electorates in the ACT, I might vote for her. I will NOT vote for Clive.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 6:10 pmMorrison is doing a preference deal with Palmer. I would rather see him doing one with Pauline.

For those who don't know ...
I didn't know that you had to number at least 6 boxes above the line nor did I know you could do as few as 12 below the line. If you are going to take the time to number boxes at least make it count.

Updated: 15 March 2019
This practise voting tool is designed to help you cast a formal Senate vote. The tool depicts a sample ballot paper only. The number and name of parties and Senate candidates for the federal election will be declared by the AEC during the election period at a public declaration of nominations.
Instructions
Select numbers using the drop down fields contained within the boxes on the sample ballot paper below. When you believe you have completed a formal vote, click the 'check my ballot paper' button at the bottom of the ballot paper. To cast a formal Senate vote, you can choose to vote either above the line or below the line.
Above the line
Number at least 6 boxes for parties or groups in the order of your choice (with number 1 as your first choice).
Below the line
Number at least 12 boxes for individual candidates in the order of your choice (with number 1 as your first choice).
You can number as many additional boxes as you choose when voting either above the line (i.e. more than six boxes) or below the line (i.e. more than twelve boxes).
I didn't know that you had to number at least 6 boxes above the line nor did I know you could do as few as 12 below the line. If you are going to take the time to number boxes at least make it count.
