I'm in a safe Labor electorate so it really doesn't matter. Getting fined 20 bucks is sounding like a plan. ;)
Me too. I'll prob vote One Nation first, libs second.

Shorten admits superannuation mistake

Bill Shorten has been forced to admit he made a mistake when he ruled out Labor making any changes to superannuation concessions.

The opposition leader said he thought he was being asked on Tuesday about further plans to change superannuation, beyond Labor's existing pledge to reduce tax concessions for super contributions.

"I thought I was being asked about 'have we got any unannounced changes to superannuation'," Mr Shorten told reporters on Wednesday.

"But obviously we have changes which we outlined three years ago, so I should have picked the words better, no question.

"We have no proposals other than what we've announced previously."

Under Labor's proposed changes,
more than one million Australians could pay more tax on their super contributions.

Looks like Bill is eyeing off our super?

This is the start – where will it end?

Is anyone's super safe with Bill even looking at it?

When I see headlines of this nature, it emphasizes my opinion that, these days, superannuation is a con, and everyone under 40 will not see a cent of their superannuation unless they transfer it into a self managed superannuation fund.
This is the only way to protect your money, by being extremely vigilant, and managing the fund yourself.
Governments cannot be trusted as the billions of dollars just sitting there in super funds is too much of a temptation for
Governments not to plunder. The Qld Government has already plundered QSuper.
Governments will take your money...they are not to be trusted....

Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...

Because I resonate with ON's policies more than LNP or ALP. Living in Sydney immigration/refugees is a major issue and unless someone comes into the Senate to oppose it we will continue to be swamped with a young male violent rabble who are mostly on Centrelink.

Both majors don't give a damn and just keep welcoming them in higher numbers.

No matter what the uneducated tell you there are no-go zones in Sydney and probably in Melbourne too. Do you want that to spread to a suburb near you?

I’m the same as black orchid nef.

The most important issue in this country is population/immigration/multiculturalism. This issue is one nations primary platform.

The liberals are allegedly our Conservative party but will continue to import every Tom, Dick, Harry and Mohammad as it creates consumers which is good for business, or so the theory goes. Ergo, if you are conservative and you vote liberal, the most important issue - population and the demographic of that population - will not be addressed. However, if you vote one nation and they start to get a ground swell of votes - guess what?

Liberal party will change its tune to try and win those conservative voters back.
