Who knows. The conservatives are coming back to the Libs after the disaster of Turnubull and Bill the Dill is a total embarrassment. I still think they both need new people and dragging up the past won't work. Let's see if Tony holds on to his seat after the millions GetUp is wasting in trying to oust him.

Tony Abbott is a TRUE conservative. Like John Howard was.
The leftards are trying to put shit on Tony in his Electorate, thus keeping him from campaigning elsewhere .... he may not have been a brilliant PM but he is a brilliant campaigner for the Liberals. I like him.

Re: 2019 Federal Election
shorten is only ever any good if he knows what questions will be asked in advance...
I see where he and Morrison will have a debate......shorty will have to practice his Obama moves....
BO just a small example of some who is young.. she 38...
Vegan bodybuilder and newly-elected NSW upper house member Emma Hurst wants to reduce the kangaroo population with contraceptives, slowly transition the dairy industry to “plant based farming”, and eventually phase out the production of eggs in Australia.
The Animal Justice Party member will join her Legislative Council colleague Mark Pearson on the crossbench for an eight-year term and says animal rights will be their major focus.
Preventing puppy farming, stopping kangaroo culling, banning caged chickens, improving quality of life for dairy cows and stopping deforestation to assist koalas are her immediate priority.
***
this is what I mean about one agenda........ they dont care about all the many people who are starving in this world.....but if they can stop people eating meat and eggs...... makes sense to them.......do they seriously think our animal farmers... will keep feeding and caring for their livestock when no one eats them anymore???.... if the production of eggs is phased out doesnt that mean no more chickens......or will they just bump off those that dont make the grade????...
***
anyway she now elected... we are stuck with her.
I agree nef... hes worth a lot more than this sheila.....

Apparently. Tony's opponent, the "Olympian" refuse to answer questions. Tony is always upfront .... she should just drop out and save her reputation. If she can't face the MEDIA ....

Tone lies like all politicians lie, Neferti and your belief that he doesn't is, shall we say, rather touching, really...

Re: 2019 Federal Election
https://www.theguardian.com/australia-n ... cuts-claimScott Morrison has seized on Bill Shorten’s claim he will not introduce new taxes on superannuation, claiming he “must have forgotten” Labor’s plan for changes that will bring in $34bn in revenue.
The hiccup in the Shorten campaign on Tuesday distracted from Labor’s claim the Coalition will have to cut $40bn a year from social spending to pay for its tax cut package.
Labor’s campaign centres on its promise to increase social spending and deliver more sustainable budget surpluses, due to revenue measures such as its plan to raise $34bn from superannuation.
The Labor policy promises to undo Coalition changes by lowering the high income threshold to $200,000 and the annual non-concessional contributions cap to $75,000 from 1 July 2019.
On Tuesday Shorten was asked if he could “rule out new or increased taxes on superannuation”.
He replied that Labor has “no plans to increase taxes on superannuation”, apparently taking the question to refer to any further changes after the plan to raise $34bn.
“We have no plans to introduce any new taxes on superannuation,” Shorten told reporters in Adelaide. Asked to rule it out, he replied: “Sure.”
Morrison said the Coalition’s changes had ensured that small business people could make superannuation contributions at the same concessional rates as employees who work for wages, warning that “Labor wants to change all that”.
“I have no idea what Bill Shorten was talking about today when he says he won’t be putting increased taxes on superannuation,” Morrison told reporters in Torquay, Victoria.
“That’s his policy. There’s $34 billion worth of increased taxes on superannuation in his own policy.
“He’s either lying about it today or he’s just forgotten the last person he hit with higher taxes.”
