Most of my family however, cruise.
From what I gather, it's an exercise in getting drunk, eating and gambling.
Not my scene
I do enjoy happy hour every day.

I dont gamble ever!

Some good shows and lovely to waited on with lots of onboard restaurants!

I love it!

I see a bot as two purposes
1 to fish out of
2 to get me somewhere

Simply sitting on a boat for the purpose of sitting on a boat makes little sense to me.

I want to be somewhere and usually get tgere by plane
My travel is predominantly to places I want to see.
I love architecture, visit different parts of the world to see it.

My wife loves antiques
So we also travel to buy them

I'm with you. I'd get effing bored in 3 seconds. To me they're just an RSL afloat :)

I get sea sick :rofl

I have been on many a boat but the thought of having to be below deck for long periods gives me vertigo.

I might do a Caribbean cruise one day. Maybe.

I've never been to Vanuatu. I hear it's nice, not as naff as Fiji and not as pricey as New Cal.

I have never been sea sick, which is just as well, as we used to go sailing on Sydney Harbour most weekends. Saw a few very "green" Yachties though. :rofl

My Mother went on a Cruise (around Fiji, Vanuatu etc) with a couple of friends not long after Dad died. My sisters and I almost wet ourselves laughing because one BIL wanted Dad's fishing stuff and she refused to give it away, so we all reckoned it was so precious that she would take it with her on the Cruise. She didn't obviously. :rofl

I've never been on a Cruise but have American friends who go cruising every 6 months or so, think they have been just about everywhere on a boat. I know some Aussie friends who go on a Cruise every so often too. Doesn't interest me, at all. :zzzz
