Well I understood they believed the NRA saw Australia's gun laws as a threat
Don't you see how nonsensical that is? Australia a threat in any way shape or form to the NRA? Seriously?
I think its more the fact that Australia's laws are always held up as an example of what should be done in USA after every USA Gun massacre
And you really think the US gives one damn about that? We are a speck thousands of miles away out in the ocean to them. The thought that we could ever have any influence over their gun laws and Second Amendment rights to bear arms is just plain silly.

We have a population smaller than Texas.
All I am saying is it does get raised by the people affected by US Gun Massacres every time.

And dont you kid yourself that they arent sensitive about gun laws, you only have to look at how much money they throw at politics in the USA to the point that very few US pollies are game to stand up against guns.
Most Americans take their Second Amendment rights very seriously. They have a totally different history than we do. If our histories were similar Howard would never have been able to do what he did here. Not in a million years.

hallelujah to Howard.....at least we havent got ak47 on every street corner... YET..

anyone that would advocate we go down the same road as America will never ever get a vote from me...

the thought of the crazy NRA having any influence here sends shudders thats for sure...

and the more I think about it red the more I think they have ties to the SSF...omg watch those preferences....its what these small parties who collect disgruntled voters get over the line with......look after your COUNTRY VOTERS....do the right thing..

Yes I agree cods about SSF

Like I said my mate the gun nut I am sure would be only interested in voting SSF and takes little interest in any thing else political,

Actually I think SSF were quite clever in picking that name as it sort of has connotations of something like the BCF stores that cater for recreational hobbies.

also has attraction to country people with the Farmers thrown in to the name especially as to some the Nats are a bit on the nose especially in regards to the Murray Darling situation.

tea the nat havwnt exactly sparkled have they?...... the drought has been shocking more should have done these people shouldnt be on the brink before they get noticed...so I am with them there....however joining up with a shooters party is where I draw the line..I dont feel anyone should have the need to own a gun...a gun is a killing machine its only use is to blow a hole in something....a farmer I am alright with....but not every man and his dog...... we have to work better .. and if foreign people are getting involved in our politics........and lets face it they way we are behaving it looks as if they have done a good job..... then we can look forward to more of this type of thing.....set ups..

Anyone who doesn't realise that it is edited must have their head up their backside, its made up of an hour or mores recording from at least one or two cameras, do you really think they would show all that without editing.

Further more no one would watch it all unedited, most would be so boring it would put a glass eye to sleep

Jesus Christ some people are dopey!

Its still her words Doubting Thomases !!

But Red, you can easily change the context or increase the emphasis on something by joining up parts of a conversation that may not have been related. I'm also pretty sure they took things she said and mixed them up in the timeline to get their desired outcome.

That is just fucking dishonest. By the way, I'm not defending PH, I never had and never will, I'm merely scrutinising the method.

Nobody's really questioning this too hard because PH is a twonk, but hopefully when the dust settles the motivation will get some attention, as it should.

But you will still cheer on and give succour to dishonest representation and foreign sponsored political interference because to the left, it's always the side that counts, never the principle.

Yes, I agree that lecturing the left on principles is as akin to teaching goats trigonometry, however the left aren't "people".
I suppose if they begin to behave like they have a functioning prefrontal cortex, they might eventually be considered people. Unfortunately, the Darwinian timeline for that to occur means the left has to either evolve, which could take mellenia or end up as a footnote in the "Survival Of The Fittest Handbook".

Logically, the latter is a sure fire bet however my good nature will always hope for the former.
