Totally agree with you. It was obvious entrapment and Ashby is certainly a complete idiot. Did Pauline even know? Latham must be rabid about this.

Why the NRA? Just for possible 'credibility'? Is there any proof the person Ashby met was NRA? What possible gain could the NRA ever have dabbling in Aussie politics? None that I can see. There is no way our gun laws will be watered down for a start and the NRA would have nothing to gain there anyway. Most of the illegal weapons caches seized in Sydney are manufactured in China.
